Shitty, low-effort AI posts do get removed. People tend not to see them, because they either get automoderated or nuked from orbit while they're still new.

For example: Pope posts. There were a BUNCH of AI-generated memes and image posts featuring the pope. Maybe one or two hung around long enough to touch the front page? A bunch were removed, though.

If one comes along and gets a shit load of upvotes, though, we tend to leave it alone.

ban AI and ban cubs posts during non-cubs weeks.

Even with my flair, I agree.

Ban posts about cubs all the time.. IDK why, but the Cubs seem to live rent-free in some Sox fan's heads..

u/Timbo303 May 27 '26

What about roasting cubs players like we did for pca? I dont see that ever being disallowed.

The first couple were fun, but it got old real quick, IMHO.. just my 2 cents..

It did get old, but then someone posted the DVD cover meme and it got like 850 upvotes. The upvotes have it, can't remove it.

I don't mind it when it happened, but that game was almost two weeks ago.

The White Sox have never had a player with the initials AI, so I'm OK with the ban, but if we do get someone with those initials, we'll have to reevaluate.

Or if one becomes a trade target.

This is Ai 😡

And the low quality posts of stupid memes and whatnot.

Most of these new posters aren't funny and think they are and are all of sudden on the bandwagon now that the team isn't dogshit.

And (insert picture) "I'm at the game!" posts. Just because they are at the game like a buncha other people, why should we care cause they don't have a friend or someone to converse with.

Nah I disagree. Going to a game is an exciting experience, and it's nice to see people share that real life excitement once in a while. We don't need this place to just be a space for serious discussion only

I agree! At least for low effort slop. how to lose the division in 10 games did make me laugh though

AI is only allowed to write LinkedIn style posts here, like the can of straight corn you’re gonna read here, complete with an “it’s not this, it’s THIS” and a bullet-point list.

What a season it has been for the Chicago White Sox in 2026. A year ago, there were plenty of questions surrounding this organization. Analysts doubted the roster construction. Fans were frustrated after years of inconsistency. National conversations rarely included the South Side when discussing contenders. But great organizations don’t always respond with words — they respond with culture, resilience, and results.

And that’s exactly what the White Sox have done this year.

What stands out most about this team isn’t just the win column. It’s the transformation in identity.

The 2026 White Sox have become a case study in what happens when leadership, accountability, player development, and belief finally align. From the front office to the clubhouse, there’s a noticeable shift in energy. The team plays with confidence, discipline, and purpose. Every game feels connected to something bigger than individual statistics.

You can see it in the fundamentals:

Cleaner defense Smarter situational baseball Better at-bats late in games More aggressive but calculated baserunning A pitching staff that attacks instead of reacts But beyond the analytics and box scores, this season has been about belief.

Belief from younger players stepping into bigger roles. Belief from veterans who stayed committed through difficult seasons. Belief from coaches who trusted development over quick fixes. And belief from fans who continued showing up, even when national attention disappeared.

That matters.

In sports — and honestly in business too — turnaround stories rarely happen overnight. People often only notice the breakthrough moment, but they miss the years of rebuilding culture behind the scenes. They miss the uncomfortable conversations, the setbacks, the criticism, and the patience required to create sustainable success.

The White Sox are showing what long-term investment can look like when it finally clicks.

There’s also something uniquely special about seeing meaningful baseball return to the South Side. Chicago is one of the greatest sports cities in the world, and when the White Sox are competitive, the energy is different. You can feel it throughout the city. The fan base has always been passionate, loyal, and deeply connected to this team’s identity — gritty, hardworking, and resilient.

And this 2026 team reflects that identity perfectly.

A lot of organizations talk about “culture.” Few actually build one. The White Sox seem to have created an environment where players genuinely trust each other, where accountability is embraced instead of avoided, and where expectations are no longer feared.

That’s leadership.

Whether this season ends with a division title, a deep postseason run, or something even bigger, one thing is already clear:

The White Sox have reestablished relevance.

They’ve reignited excitement. They’ve restored belief in the organization. And they’ve reminded everyone that resilience can still win in modern sports.

There’s a lesson here far beyond baseball: Success is rarely linear. Organizations that stay committed through adversity often emerge stronger, more united, and more dangerous than anyone expected.

The 2026 White Sox are proving exactly that.

South Side baseball is alive again. ⚾🔥
