Main questions, even if the exact item isn't found, is it food/dishwasher/microwave safe or just a collectable?

Apparently they were designed by American actress Helen Hunt, circa 1996. Handwash is best, I got one at a thrift store awhile back and one dishwasher cycle dulled the metallic parts

Good and weird to know! For some reason, I have an irrational hatred for Helen Hunt. But immediately thought of “Chip” from Beauty and the Beast.
