Nothing to say about the price increase? You don’t think maaaaybe that might have something to do with PS5 sales dropping? Might be worth mentioning.

Price increase has to do with AI driving up the cost of components and is a universal problem for all the platform holders. It’s not a Sony-specific issue.

Who fucking cares? Prices go up, people can’t afford the console anymore, so they stop buying. That’s the driving factor here. Anybody saying it’s literally anything else is intentionally lying or delusional.

The people that mentioned things before you were actually things Sony could fix and were problems specific to them.

Even if Sony reversed course on killing physical media and cancelled all their live service games, pivoting to the single player games people know them for it still wouldn’t make a difference. Not one bit of difference at all. The simple fact is most people cannot justify buying a PS5 console at their current price when rent, gas, food and other necessities are also going up in price with no end in sight.

It’s the price of the console. It’s just too expensive. Stop pretending it’s anything else.

Exactly. It’s a reflection of global economic conditions. Not Sony. Everything is expensive and people are getting priced out of their hobbies because unqualified people are running entire countries.
