Since 2007, Saint-Martin has been an Overseas Collectivité with its own governance and institutional autonomy. However, we do not yet have an official symbol that fully reflects our identity, our history, our culture, and our unique way of living together.

This project aims to fill this gap. The Collectivité of Saint-Martin is launching the creation of its flag within a participatory, transparent, and rigorous framework. This flag will not be decreed; it will be built collectively, based on your contributions.

It features the Sun of May, representing the Southern Cone and the Andes; it also incorporates the colors of the tricolor mirandino. The green border, along with the blue circle in the center, represents Brazil, while the stars stand for the 12 sovereign South American states and French Guiana. Originally, I intended for the stars to represent constellations much like on the Brazilian flag, but it ended up looking a bit odd. I also considered representing the Andes with a rainbow, but in the end, I decided to stick with just the Sun of May.

There are alot more of these that I didn't show there is around 55 of them so he are the archive links that you can explore for yourself

The Cross of Victoria is a proposed state flag for Victoria, Australia, designed by Brodie Geoffrey Dunn. https://flagofvictoria.github.io/

Symbolism: Red stands for family, and the four quarters for mother, father, son and daughter.
White stands for peace and unity, the ties that hold a family together.
Blue is the world the generations share: sky, sea and land.
The arms of the cross are the directions people take, and the five stars are the ages of a life.

Feedback welcome.

What do you think now before my badly done the first redesign?

Now without the USSR symbol.

Characteristics: 2 Red up and down

Green in the middle (similar to transnistria flag)

Is this just a random "italy with a star" flag or is it something? If it helps, spotted at Bard, Aosta, Italy. Same colors as Italy flag, and the star is red

This design was made by artist Kemas Muhammad Firdaus. I only ever have seen this design in pictures, spray painted on a wall so I did my best to recreate it. I was inspired to make this by Deniz Iyigün’s lecture on Straw Hat Pirate Flags last weekend at NAVA 60. Please go watch the video of the lecture. It is very well done: LINK

Hi everyone!

I created an interactive flag where you can click across divisions of all countries, and their flags will show. You can also filter by colors, shape... as an example i have shared an screenshot of all states of US with main color blue on their flag.

There's 11.000 flags in the database, and growing. If you know of an interesting or funny flag from your region would love to hear proposals. And before you ask, yes, Laser Kiwi is included of course.

This one is part of a series of flag resources, trying to have a modern and accurate flag database, all flags are tagged manually so there can be some mismatches!

Here's the link, appreciate any feedback or suggestions:

Today's flag is for Rowan County which was founded in 1856 and named for Ky legislature John Rowan. The county has three incorporated cities, and two unincorporated communities. The county is most known for Morehead State University, in the county seat. The county also once was majorly tied to the coal industry.

The Blue and Yellow triangles represent the mountains while the color is the same as the Universities. The black star represents coal, while the five white ones represent the three cities and two unincorporated settlements.

Hope y'all enjoy.

I saw this tricolor flag with the crest of the Chicago Bears in a video of a press conference with Mike Ditka. Can anyone help me figure out what it is called or find an image of it?

I redid an old Arctic autonomous region flag. The color scheme is based on available furs in the area, as traditionally, dyes were unavailable.

I tried my best the green thing on top is the seed of an endemic cypress tree to the island how it got there I don't know but it's unripe and it symbolizes something not too sure yet but it was fun to draw if you have any more questions put them in the comments and I'll answer them to the best of my abilities be safe guys hope you enjoy this flag

Where could this flag be from

(Besides south park lol)

I think that it's just a really neat flag for a certain potential Canada.
