I live on east coast😭 will literally never use USPS again

I have a package coming to Canada through USPS and I was given a tracking number through Pirate Ship. I'm confused because the tracking status on USPS says it's been stuck in customs for 3 weeks now, but the Pirate Ship tracking says "This shipment has been created but has not been scanned into the system yet. Check back later!" My package was mailed almost a month ago and I'm not sure why it's not showing up on Pirate Ship?

I’m so frustrated and not sure what to even do. My package has just been sitting in Greensboro since last week. I’ve filed a missing mail claim and haven’t heard anything and tracking hasn’t updated either. What do I do? 🙄

It's a re shipper company as I live outside of the US, have never seen this label in the past, the re shipper company says they don't have it yet. The store is teying to contact them, on my side I can't do anything as when I enter the shipping number for support it says i can't open a case cause It's a re shipper company

Has anyone ever successfully filed an insurance claim with USPS?

I shipped my wedding band set to the vendor that I purchased it from for repair on August 29th.

My ring arrived at the sorting facility and then never moved again. I purchased additional insurance on the package to cover the cost of a new ring if it was lost or stolen.

I submitted my claim at the end of September with my original invoice, photos of my ring sent for repair, and how much that current vendor is currently selling it for for me to get it replaced.

USPS keeps denying my claim for lack of information/proof and idk what else to do because that is all of the information I have. I now have to wait 2 weeks for another letter telling me why my claim was denied.

So right now, not only has my original wedding set been lost, but I have no way to replace it right now.

I sent this package almost three weeks ago. After many meaningless moves it finally made it to the post office. It was supposed to be delivered on the 13th but wasn't. It said it'd be redelivered the next day but nothing has changed. Should I give up on this?

The manager at my post office has really gone through it with me, but I was crying to her yesterday that my check was lost in the mail but I got a picture on informed delivery and it was $14,000 and we need the money and she talked me down and told me not to panic and immediately went and found it in the post office and hand delivered it to me. I would love to do something for her to show my appreciation, I plan to bring her a Christmas card with a gift card but I’d like to do something more. Is writing a letter on how amazing she is and mailing it to the district office actually worthwhile? Will it help her in anyway? If not who can I write to?

Normally I wouldnt be upset for air travel since its easy to correct but this is by ground and I had no control over what kind of shipping. Im west coast, in other words I was so close, yet so far... I guess another week it is for me

I don’t understand why my package back other state, I thought leaving NY to Canada.. First picked up was in WILMINGTON DE DISTRIBUTION CENTER and now back to WILMINGTON DE DISTRIBUTION CENTER. Like why????

For my home address, I get informed delivery notifications for inbound mail.

I purchased a PO Box at a full service location with 247 access to PO Boxes, on 10/2. Items have been delivered to it, but I have yet to get any informed delivery mail. I've even sent myself email addressed to the PO Box to ensure that mail is getting to it. The key that they gave me works to open it.

If I look at the site https://poboxes.usps.com/manageAccount.html it has my PO Box listed there. It's under the same login account for the Informed Delivery for my home address.

Who do I contact for help? How soon should I be getting Informed Delivery email for my PO Box? I used their online chat, and ultimately they said to just wait "a few more days". Using their online email contact form gave me an odd, wrong response as if it was from a script.

So this doesn’t seem like a big deal but I’ve been waiting since Monday and they didn’t update it for almost 5 days and then when they do its moved states away from me?? Usually it goes to the next Indiana facility then my house? Im in desperate need of whats in that package is there anyway i can see whats going on? Or does anyone know?

I opened a Service Request with USPS. Immediately closed it within 24ish hours.

So ok if you live in Maryland and the seller shipping from Maryland to your Maryland address why this should go to FLORIDA CAN someone explain if I did know it will be like this I would have drove all the way to Pikesville and picked it myself USPS make it make sense. 1 month and I still didn’t get anything and when I try to contact usps doesn’t let me send and email to investigate the problem DO better this is the US postal service guys.

Sender already proved to me they were suppose to go to a residentil address and it showed delivered to PO box which is strange. Mail search already done and has been declared lost. Has anyone ever had a package still get delivered after all this?

June 11th. This package has been “inbound into customs” for the better part of about 4 months. Should I ever expect to receive it or is this a lost cause?

so, I'm sure there is a reasonable explanation for this but the fact that it's on informed delivery (which by necessity means it does have my correct address, I think?) - also the same day, multiple other packages were delivered with the right address/name. However, I think this was an international package and maybe customs ripped into it or something. Regardless, I found this funny. Have a nice day

the seller provide me some tracking on oct 5 but until now its not moving i already message the seller. he said he already drop the item (CD) to the usps post box morning of oct 7 (this is his last message to me. i contact him again on oct 12 but until now theres no respond to me what will i do? oh btw the item was in (indianapolis)

My package went from Out for Delivery in my city to a Delay due to "Animal Interference" (I don't own a dog & the rest of my mail was delivered that day) to being sent to another city's post office to being sent to ANOTHER STATE'S post office, where it was finally delivered to an address that isn't mine hundreds of miles away.

I finally got a callback from USPS on this issue I filed a complaint on last week. I was in a meeting so I didn't answer but it was a call from my local post office... letting me know they didn't have my package. No shit, dude. They also claimed it never came through their PO at all & told me to ask the sender to just send out another package.

Is there no accountability for something like this happening with USPS anymore? In the extremely rare instance in the past when I've had to make an inquiry I've gotten an informative answer about what was going on. "We don't have it, it never came through us, ask the sender to send out another package" isn't getting to the bottom of what happened. Is there anything else I can do to get an answer or a solution here?

Side note: I contacted the seller's customer service who agreed that, on their end, it looked like USPS delivered my package to an address in Oklahoma, too.
