I am fucked. I’ve been so stressed for weeks with all my classes, I studied so hard for this exam and I just dumped all my effort in the trash because of a careless mistake. I just looked at the exams availability window and how much the time limit is to take it so I started it about one hour and 30 min after it opened, and I thought it would be fine since i would finish by time limit as well as an hour before it completely closed. When I go take the exam the instruction text was updated when it was initially opened including the fact one must be in the exam within 15 minutes of its start time. I completely forgot this, I don’t know how the hell. It is 1 point off per minute. That’s about 90 points off. So yeah I’m dumb and probably going to tank my gpa and lose my scholarship. just rant

The biggest thing I focused on was having REAL, up-to-date UF course data. The app pulls Spring 2027 classes and sections directly from UF's Schedule of Courses. You can build conflict-free schedules, and once registration opens, available seats will refresh every 30 minutes! No accounts, no data collection, just a simple way to plan your classes.

Why not just use UFScheduler or another alternative? Since UFScheduler is open source, anyone can redeploy it, but that doesn't mean the course data is current. I wanted to build something that actually stays updated every semester. Registr, Coursicle, and others are great too, but my focus is keeping things UF-specific and accurate.

I am not an art major in any stretch of the imagination, I am an engineer with very very little artistic ability.

However, despite my severe lack of talent I have decided I want to learn to do realistic sketches. I was wondering if there are any clubs at UF you guys have found/have experience with that do art classes or similar. I’m mostly interested in pencil sketching, but would also be down to learn painting or other types of art as well if there are any good clubs! Any recommendations?

please, someone help I don't understand how the average could be below 50% for a MINI exam. I'm so lost I'm putting in so much work just to get low grades. I feel like if I don't do good on the exam monday I'll have to drop but I don't want to get behind on my chem sequence. Speaking of which, do you think the grading scale will be curved at all?

I seriously need tips, what do I need to do in order to pass this class? I feel like I overthink it too much because once someone explains a concept to me it's simple, but then my exam grades never reflect my understanding. Please give me detailed tips or advice on what to do.

Hi I'm debating between taking David Groisser or Willard Keeran for MAS4105 (Linear Algebra). Does anybody have any insight about these two professors, especially how they teach MAS4105? If it helps, I saw that on RMP, David Groisser teaches you to be on par as a graduate student, and I do plan to go to graduate school. I want a professor that prepares me very well for the exam and teaches the concepts very well.

For context, I'm a freshman majoring in biochemistry and is on the premed track.

I'm currently taking Gen Chem 2, so I would naturally take Orgo 1 next semester. Because I'm technically a chem major, I get special organic chemistry classes for majors. However, the "Organic Chemistry 1 for majors" class is only available in the fall, so if I were to take orgo next semester, it wouldn't be the specialized class for majors. I talked to my advisor and she said I could either take the general orgo 1 class or analytical chem for majors. I looked at the analytical chem class for the spring and it's taught by Professor Shafiee, who I've heard is very passionate about chemistry but isn't the greatest professor.

Are the orgo classes for majors worth waiting until the fall for, or should I just take the general orgo 1 class in the spring?

I am not doing good in PHY 1 2053. I did all the homework problems. I used Study Edge. Should I finish the course even though I feel that I might fail it or should I drop it. I know it's too late to drop a course but can the counselor approve it. How bad is it to take it again. Will it affect my overall GPA. I'm really depressed over this course. I thought I studied hard but don't seem to get a good passing grade. The exams are not multiple choice which makes it very hard to know if the answer is correct or not. I appreciate any advice.

I’m taking Orgo 2 right now and haven’t done as well as I’d hoped on the first two exams. I’m currently sitting at a C+ and feeling pretty discouraged.

I feel like I understand the material when studying, but my exam scores aren’t reflecting that. I’m wondering if it’s my study habits or if I need to approach things differently. With three exams left, I really want to turn things around. For those who did well in this class or managed to improve their grades, what study methods or resources worked best for you?

So I’m currently on benacquisto and bright futures. I hit my 120 credit limit this fall and bright futures decreased to cover the amount remaining, while Benacquisto increased to cover the remaining amount. Despite that I’m still receiving the full package of 12915 for both. However, I recently saw a charge for almost 600 dollars for financial aid refund payback even though I didn’t drop any classes. What am I supposed to do and what is this amount? I received the regular refund amount this semester for a student taking 12 credits.
