A lot of you have been asking what happened to UFScheduler and what to use now. First off, huge shoutout to the original dev for building such a great tool and open-sourcing it!

Since it's been down, I decided to build my own alternative just in time for Spring 2027 registration! 🐊

GatorPlanner → https://gatorplanner.app/

The biggest thing I focused on was having REAL, up-to-date UF course data. The app pulls Spring 2027 classes and sections directly from UF's Schedule of Courses. You can build conflict-free schedules, and once registration opens, available seats will refresh every 30 minutes! No accounts, no data collection, just a simple way to plan your classes.

Why not just use UFScheduler or another alternative? Since UFScheduler is open source, anyone can redeploy it, but that doesn't mean the course data is current. I wanted to build something that actually stays updated every semester. Registr, Coursicle, and others are great too, but my focus is keeping things UF-specific and accurate.

I'll be maintaining this throughout registration and beyond. Give it a try, and let me know what you think! Would love to hear your feedback!

Hello! I'm looking to apply for a 2x2 apartment at Woodbury Row, but they don't do roommate matching, so I would need a roommate to apply for the lease. Feel free to pm me for more information about the property and about me if you might be interested! The apartment is $1200/month unfurnished and is right behind Norman Hall.

How strict is the requirement on what kind of photo you can have for your ID? I’ve always hated my gator one id pic and just found out I can change it, but the photo I wanna use isn’t exactly “professional.” what do you guys have for your ids? (no images in the comments!)

My gf wants to know. She took the pirates quest 1 class which was too much work. So if anyone has experience with one that you found light on work pls let me know!!!

20 non student in the area looking for an opportunity to talk to and make friends with people my age and have some fun

I feel so lost about nursing admissions. As someone applying, is there anyway I can get more involved with the college before applications? Anything to do that helps my application?

Is there a chase atm near school walking distance i need cash and i dont wanna pay 6 bucks for the well fargo at the hub.

I got an email about attending an audition for this, does anyone know if it’s worth it? I have dance and athletic training but how much do group fitness instructors get paid? I feel like it can’t be worth it in terms of pay if you’re only teaching like 2 hours a week

Hi, I am an entomology student at UF and I was wondering if anybody could give me some bed bugs, deer flies, or fleas that you may have lying around in a collection or other place. I need them for a class collection that is due in about a month. If anyone can give me some of those that would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Hi guys! im a freshman at uf who is trying to find people to go out with or who are just down to hang out! most of the people ive met only go out with their sorority or dont go out at all and i still feel like i havent met my people. i am planning to rush in the spring though! please feel free to dm me and reach out if you go to uf! :)

For context, I'm a freshman majoring in biochemistry and is on the premed track.

I'm currently taking Gen Chem 2, so I would naturally take Orgo 1 next semester. Because I'm technically a chem major, I get special organic chemistry classes for majors. However, the "Organic Chemistry 1 for majors" class is only available in the fall, so if I were to take orgo next semester, it wouldn't be the specialized class for majors. I talked to my advisor and she said I could either take the general orgo 1 class or analytical chem for majors. I looked at the analytical chem class for the spring and it's taught by Professor Shafiee, who I've heard is very passionate about chemistry but isn't the greatest professor.

Are the orgo classes for majors worth waiting until the fall for, or should I just take the general orgo 1 class in the spring?

I am not doing good in PHY 1 2053. I did all the homework problems. I used Study Edge. Should I finish the course even though I feel that I might fail it or should I drop it. I know it's too late to drop a course but can the counselor approve it. How bad is it to take it again. Will it affect my overall GPA. I'm really depressed over this course. I thought I studied hard but don't seem to get a good passing grade. The exams are not multiple choice which makes it very hard to know if the answer is correct or not. I appreciate any advice.

We’re leaving the wallet with UF Innovate, go ask them and confirm your identity and they’ll give it back to you!

Hi everyone :)

I’m really really anxiety ridden when it comes to the gym, and I would like to see if anyone would like to be my gym buddy? I am very new to gym stuff and would appreciate any and all advice. My friend (who doesn’t live near me currently) said that I should try to have a buddy to help me get over my fear/anxiety. So would anyone like to help me?

Thank you :)

I’m taking Orgo 2 right now and haven’t done as well as I’d hoped on the first two exams. I’m currently sitting at a C+ and feeling pretty discouraged.

I feel like I understand the material when studying, but my exam scores aren’t reflecting that. I’m wondering if it’s my study habits or if I need to approach things differently. With three exams left, I really want to turn things around. For those who did well in this class or managed to improve their grades, what study methods or resources worked best for you?

I hate having to come to Reddit for this kind of thing, but I’d genuinely appreciate any advice.

So I’m currently on benacquisto and bright futures. I hit my 120 credit limit this fall and bright futures decreased to cover the amount remaining, while Benacquisto increased to cover the remaining amount. Despite that I’m still receiving the full package of 12915 for both. However, I recently saw a charge for almost 600 dollars for financial aid refund payback even though I didn’t drop any classes. What am I supposed to do and what is this amount? I received the regular refund amount this semester for a student taking 12 credits.

Help! Trying to figure out what classes to take second semester freshmen year besides gen chem 2 and gen bio 1. Besides quest2, what electives are considered easy A? I’m debating to take HUN2201 as it’s 3 times a week. Last semester, I took only gen chem 1 so don’t want to overload science class. Would Any upperclassmen like to share their 4 year plan? Would love to see some as reference. Please and thank you!

Went to 2nd and Charles and got offered… $13 for all these mangas. Biggest scam store everrr. Anyone know a place that has reasonable buy backs in GV?

is it rude to email a professor asking for a letter of recommendation? i’m no longer in his class so i’d have to go to his office hours and he said he really only does appointments because he’s so busy, and i don’t want to have to go to his office hours just for one question.

I have my license but haven’t driven since getting it, and I’d like a few refresher lessons before buying a car. Every driving school I’ve found so far is pretty expensive. Any recommendations for good, affordable schools or instructors in Gainesville? Thanks!

I’m in the fully online, self-paced theatre appreciation course THE2000. Because of that campus-wide WiFi outage on Sunday night, two of my assignments didn’t submit properly and brought my overall grade down from an A to a B. I emailed the course instructor about it but he hasn’t responded. It’s been like 3 days now, what should I do to get a retake/resubmission?
