I’m a BSc psych major and I need 6 credits of non psyo courses, the two i’m looking at are DATA 301 and DATA 407. To anyone who’s taken one or both these, what were they like and would you recommend?

For context, i’m doing psyo 372/373 and have also done intro statistics

Hi! just wondering if anyone has any experience with 400 level History midterms with Frost. I've taken one class of hers but it was a 300 level. Are they similar? What to expect?

Can I break into engineering roles with an undergraduate degree in maths?

It has been a few minutes since I woke up only to realize my alarm clock became a push notification with no sound (silent mode was not on, and the phone was on max volume) and sleep mode for some reason made all of my other alarms silent until I clicked the notification. Now I missed two classes, including one that I am really struggling in and really need more help in. What should I do?

If anyone’s taken this course previously - are the python coding assignments directly relevant? (i.e tested on quizzes, midterms, finals?)

In most of my previous COSC courses, coding assignments weren’t directly tested, and i was better off studying theory. Any idea if this one is similar?

Hello,
I’m currently in the application process for the Student RCMP Call Taker position in Kelowna which I found through the UBCO job board. I was just looking for others who have already gone through this process out of curiosity for what to expect.

I missed Tuesday’s lecture (wasn’t planning on it 😢) and was wondering if anyone could kindly share any exam hints the prof mentioned. I’d really appreciate it

Anyone have powerpoints for POLI100, ECON101 or know where I can find them?

Hi, I am curious if there is any way I can find my lost stuff. I always have my watch with me, so I do not know where I dropped it, but I am pretty sure it is on campus. It is a black Samsung Fit watch. I used it very often, so I feel really weird without it.

Hi All!
It's my first year at UBCO after four at Okanagan College, working on my second degree, and I’ve been struggling to make friends. I'm mainly having trouble forming study connections—I've reached out to over eight classmates, all shared numbers, but only one occasionally replies.

In JPST-100, I've struggled even more, consulting with the professor without much progress. Two classmates have shown some interest, but they’re too busy to study with me. If anyone is willing to study together, even if you took JPST-100 last year, I’d really appreciate it—and maybe we can become friends!

A Little About Me:
I'm 22F, she/her, a 3rd-year student, but my first year on campus. I can be a bit “all-over-the-place” but I promise I’m still on top of what I need to get done. (Dm me if you wanna chat about interests more to see if we’d get along!) My major is Psychology with a minor in Sociology; I’m working toward my BA and hope to pursue my master’s here if possible.

I have a learning disability in English and ADHD, causing processing issues and misunderstandings in projects. I was a top student at OC, making Dean’s List, so it’s tough transitioning from A+ grades to C- grades. (Just mentioning to put into perspective the shift I’m experiencing.)

i moved to kelowna a month ago and havent been able to make any friends yet. wondering how the music scene is here? anyone wanna talk about music with me

ON THE SECOND LAST DAY TOO LIKE HELLO ISNT THE SCHOOL OF ENG SUPPOSED TO EQUALLY SPACE THE FINALS LIKE THEY DO FOR FIRST YEARS 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Currently trying to write the lab report that’s due this week.. my TA didn’t say anything about it but are we supposed to go into the lab in our own time and weigh our sample?! I don’t know how else to do this report without any sort of mass info

I know that classes are canceled but are the buildings locked?

Anyone on campus who can check for me before I drive there?

I found this cat bracelet while I was printing something out at the library. If anyone knows who it belongs to please lmk.

Does anyone know what’s actually happening in this class, I constantly feel lost and I feel she never teaches us anything that’s relevant of connected to any other material in the course. This midterm is going to be a bloodbath for me and my study group atp.

anyone who has taken this class before, how difficult were the midterms? I'm confused on what I should be focusing my studying on
