Yeah, not paying that for a city park show. I can justify $70-85 for their rise in popularity at this point, but $150 is wild! Will be keeping an eye on tickets closer to the date.

u/maxthemarxist12 Jun 25 '26
This is so evil wtf, this is $105.62 USD for those curious

u/ekuadam Jun 25 '26
Show here in NC was $98 (plus I assume fees). Not paying that to see them.
1
u/maxthemarxist12 Jun 25 '26
That’s so whack. We got lucky-ish in Detroit and cheapest were $58.50
2
u/ekuadam Jun 25 '26
I saw somewhere that apparently, I’m not sure if it was everywhere, but places had tiered pricing. So once the $45 tickets sold out, the next tier was on sale. So you may have gotten Detroit tickets for $58, but prices may be higher now.
Prices for every concert have gotten out of hand
2
u/mikesstuff Jun 25 '26
So 20 dollars more than seeing them in Portland Maine. Holy fuck all the Canadians complaining are fucked

And I’m pissed because I missed them when they were in Buffalo last year and the ticket was only $60 but I was in Hawaii. Now? No way I’m paying $150
4
u/Designmetoo Jun 25 '26
i wish i saw rhem in buffalo, that lineup was insane. saw em in ottawa tho that was amazing

u/CrocObama Jun 25 '26
After how awful the presale for this went, and then seeing the price at $150, my excitement for this is dead now. Aint no way im paying $300 for my fiance & I to go. Other shows are a fraction of the price, this just isnt worth it.

u/DaltonFitz Jun 25 '26
Worst part is that it’s not all that surprising. The days of any sort of reasonably priced concert with a band that has any exposure in Toronto are gone unfortunately.
3
u/KruleMidi Jun 25 '26
Got tickets but this left a bitter taste in my mouth. Weaker opening bands and the most expensive date in the tour? I feel like “maybe I shouldn’t have bought to send a message” which is not the best feeling to have when you just got tickets to see a band you love

u/DistrictAlive8064 Jul 04 '26
I’m acc a big fan of yves tumor one of the openers. Give Ebony Eye, Dream Palette, Gospel for a new century, and kerosene a listen maybe it’ll soften the blow. I am acc a bigger fan of yves tumor than turnstile so just waiting to see if prices drop and I can justify the price
2
u/keystonekid16 Jun 25 '26
Is this tour tiered? $60 plus fees here in Pittsburgh
2
u/ekuadam Jun 25 '26
May just be venue dependent or something. Apparently tickets in Miami at a non live nation venue; were $32. Here in NC they are $95 before fees.

damn mine for okc was $59

u/okmilkboy Jun 25 '26
How/where did you get yours?

u/fakevegansunite Jun 25 '26
most of our venues here use prekindle, i just got on the venue’s website and used the code for a GA ticket.

u/OriginalBad Jun 25 '26
…why? I’m seeing them in NY with the Clipse for $80 per ticket. Why would Toronto be double?

u/SonicAwareness Jun 25 '26
The price is what people will pay.
If this flops, they fucked up.
If this sells out, or well, it was priced correctly.
Comments in here are wildly stupid.

u/Appropriate_Error_38 Jun 25 '26
I'm so confused. Is this everyone's first concert ticket buying experience or something? Like shit is expensive AF now
5
u/Anagrama00 Jun 25 '26 edited Jun 25 '26
No way I'm paying that.
I've seen Turnstile live a few times in Toronto. They're decent live but not worth that at fucking all.
Certainly not when they are playing in a city park with shitty sound instead of a proper venue like History the last time they played here (which had amazing sound) and it cost $40 Canadian. Plus the show at History had way better openers.
So way bigger venue. Worse sound. 4x the capacity. Weaker openers and they are charging $150. Lol no.
4
u/Designmetoo Jun 25 '26
i mean of course they wouldn't play at history again lol
-2
u/Anagrama00 Jun 25 '26
That's besides the point. They could have simply done 3 shows at History this time. They went from a venue with good sound to one with shitty sound and a shittier experience and are charging way way way more with worse openers.
2
u/Designmetoo Jun 25 '26
the main thing i'll disagree with, is that history fucking sucks for anything metal or punk. the security is insanely tight and you can't really do shit. it's too preppy of a place for what i see turnstile try and aim for for their shows. at history everyone just stands around and nods their heads, cause you can't stage dive and i've never seen anyone crowd surf either. sure it has better sound quality but to me that's not that important. if i wanted great sound i'd just use my sound system at home. when i saw them in ottawa, it was also in a giant park, and i had 0 complaints about sound quality. it was insanely fun to be amongst a sea of thousands of people, where people would crowd surf and rush the stage, i'd much rather that. and yeah the openers are probably the weakest in comparison to other cities i'll give that. but i spent more to see them in ottawa and to me it was worth every penny
3
u/Anagrama00 Jun 25 '26
What "shit" are you trying to do at History?
I went to the two Turnstile shows at History on the Glow On tour and both shows were amazing and had huge wild pits. I didn't see security giving anyone a hard time and I was in the pit.
The bar staff were amazing and had tons of free cups of water already setup for everyone all night long for when people got thirsty. Didn't see a single issue. It was the best. The sound was amazing too.
2
u/Syllaberries Jun 25 '26
the only thing they don't let you do at History is stage dive. the last time they were here it was wall to wall pits and insanity though i disagree about people just standing around
1
u/Designmetoo Jun 25 '26
i guess anything close to heavier shows i've gone to history for it's been super tame, so maybe i'm wrong about that, but i've always preferred hardcore shows at pretty much any other venue in toronto. history, which i've gone to many times, is just too clean and preppy for me for that type of environment. it was amazingly fun at blues fest though so i have full faith in an outdoor venue. i'm hoping they don't have a barrier this time tho

I had to go pull up my tickets from last year in Minneapolis and it was $150 total for two tickets, and now in Milwaukee it's $170 total for two tickets. I get that they're different venues and everything but it's just mind boggling that half the cost is ticket fees or taxes

Is this even a venue? I've never seen a show there....ever. I often hated it but it's too bad echo beach is no more, that would've been the right sized outdoor venue and could've easily priced it at $80.
2
u/capybarasforthewin Jun 25 '26
Technically, it's not a venue, but they sometimes set up stages there for concerts and festivals.

I’ve been to 3 recent music events at woodbine park. 1 show and 2 festivals. Rufus du Sol on June 2022, Boiler Room June 2023 and Boiler room Sept 2025. Surprisingly it’s a decent outdoor venue. The 3 times I went it was well organized and I enjoyed the experience. Luckily the weather also cooperated. With any outdoor show you have to be ready even if it’s rain or shine. The sound system and lights was pretty good no major complaints.
Turnstile will probably have the similar setup like Rufus du sol in 2023 with a stage in the north end and two massive screens on the left and right of the stage.
While for boiler room it was a festival so they have smaller stages throughout the grounds and they built a main stage on top of the gazebo on the east side of the park.
Don’t listen to those complainers saying it’s a horrible venue and it’s just a park. They probably just making it up and have no direct experience attending a major concert or festival at woodbine park.

95 for ventura CA. :/

u/Stowe22 Jun 25 '26
Turnstile hit us with the Grammy price
Get the bag boys, I guess
2
u/Spartftw Jun 25 '26
Yah, I decided to pass on it. Lol.
In Cali its only outdoor venues, so the sound wont be as good as a theater. So I personally cant justify the dollars spent for the experience given. Just for me personally.2
u/Stowe22 Jun 25 '26
I pulled the trigger cause I haven’t seen them and it’s closer to home than LA. If it was in LA I would have passed as well.
2
u/Spartftw Jun 25 '26
Oh its an awesome show!
Been watching them since their earlier days and the live experience is incredible.
Have fun!2

u/capybarasforthewin Jun 25 '26
This is fucking insane. I saw them opening for MCR in 2022 for less than that lolol

u/PhotographSwimming85 Jun 25 '26
Right bc that’s the same price as ocheaga which is an actual shitty festival

Genuinely unfortunate. I would’ve gone 100%. I always figured they’d be the kind of band to protest high ticket prices. I’ve paid $200-300+ for floor tickets at Scotiabank Arena and Rogers Centre with huge productions, what’s so special about Woodbine Park 🙏🙏🙏

Last year for their San Diego show I paid $170 USD for 2 tickets. Worth every penny.
1
u/Anagrama00 Jun 25 '26
They are particularly dumb for doing this considering every band imaginable is touring right now and this fall in particular has TONS of other good shows coming to Toronto.
People have limits for shows and what they can pay. All my friends and I have tons of other shows already booked for the fall and we all balked at paying $150 for a hardcore band. Especially when like DIIV&Interpol are $75. Mastodon is like $60. So many other good shows in Sept-Nov here.
-2
u/Pherring83 Jun 25 '26
These prices are actually lower than acts of similar status, not sure why there are so many grownups throwing a tantrum about spending $80-100 for a leisure activity.
-1
u/frig1t Jun 25 '26
The Canadian dollar is very weak right now --- $150CAD is $100USD which seems fairly competitive with the US ticket prices. Everything in our economy has increased dramatically in price. And the band has taken off in popularity. This all checks out to a $150CAD price. Also, the openers are excellent artists - Yves and Saya, despite comments that they are "weak". It's going to be a great day!!
Edit - typo on name of artist "Saya Gray"

u/Pherring83 Jun 25 '26
That's awesome y'all get Saya Gray! Saw her in NYC a few years ago and she is excellent.

Just seeing this as well. Fuck that. For a show with a cap of 10000? Forget it. Refusing on principle alone.

u/Arfilmwork Jun 25 '26
Insane, when they played at history it was 49$
