Feel like we've got a lot of new users here since all of the Bill 212 stuff started so I just wanted to welcome you all but reiterate that this is /r/TorontoBiking.
That means that your post should be related to riding a bike in the GTA.
A very non-exhaustive list of things that don't fit this criteria include:
Doug Ford giving a press conference about something unrelated to cycling
A cyclist in LA riding away from a forest fire
A foreign dignitary riding a bike not in Toronto

If you’re struggling what to say, say:
I am urging you to stop the bike lane removals right now.
If you don’t, you will soon be known as the company that knowingly did work that killed someone. That will be your legacy for generations.
Especially when someone gets killed thanks to you.
I am urging you to cancel the bike lane removals now for your reputation’s sake.

As a third day of resistance to the Bloor bike lane removals gets underway, my latest blog post covers my first hand account of Tuesday evening's protest as well as a recap of Wednesday’s events. Stand your ground, folks!

I left around 7, they were saying most people were going home. Crazy to see this develop right after I left. What grounds is there for an arrest? People were just biking laps. Does anyone know what’s happening?
The cops were INCREDIBLY hostile today
EDIT: check CycleTo’s IG page. They arrested a community member, the one with the light up sign in the image. Arrested for “mischief”. The most nonsense charge

Passed by this morning. Seems like they are building protected bike lanes on the east side of Queens Park Cres. Didn’t they announce the Queens Park bike lanes will also be gone last time?

It's worse than I thought. The police even brought Court Wagons, and 2 MORE police vehicles arrived on scene after I took the last picture.
There's no violence of course, but to think they're pouring so much police resources into helping destroy Safety infrastructure like a bunch of thugs.

As we are starting to see some of the lanes getting removed, I want to remind everyone that this isn't unexpected. It was never realsiitc to keep everything. Our goal is to minimize how much we lose.
When the Spadina Expressway protests finally stopped the project, the highway was already partially built. We see the remnants of that today. However, the protests stopped it before it become irreversible.
The same is true here. This is not a loss unless we stop as soon as the lanes disappear. No. That is just the beginning.
Whenever a lane gets removed, we do not give up. We continue with daily protests, only now we take the lane during rush hours. In fact, I would go as far as to say, that's the real battle, because it actually will impact drivers.
The goal is to get drivers wishing they were never removed and ideally begging for them to be reinstalled.
Don't let this demotivate you. Let it invigorate you.

Toronto needs a vision for what comes next.
Taking it lane by lane is the hard work; but it's time to articulate what it should end up looking like when it's ready.
I'm not talking about a "bike plan" document or a municipal survey; I'm talking about a big dream that gets people excited.
We can have a network map that looks like a subway, with wayfinding at major intersections.
We can have designated bicycle "highways" with different signals and lane configurations.
We can have families riding around Toronto, kids going to school, and professionals commuting to work.
This is much bigger than one lane; although every lane matters. In fact, some lanes matter more than others - and Bloor is one of them. It is a central link in the network.
Some people are putting a lot of energy into uniting us; let's leverage that. While we're all together, let's dream aloud.
