[Unknown][2015-Present] Game with golems/constructs using some kind of stone tablet as its brain/instructions?

I don't want to make up too many details and confuse people, but I feel like I remember playing a game a while back that may have been a real time RPG, possibly open world. I recall that there were some kind of golems/constructs in the game and that they were controlled by some kind of stone tablet or component that had to be created/enscribed/enchanted in a way that made them work. I feel like they were used for manual labour/heavy work. I feel like it was just a general bit of world building, maybe involving a side quest. I don't really remember what they looked like. I feel like a quest may have involved collecting one of their components to take to an NPC.

I feel like it was fantasy rather than sci fi.

I don't know where this memory has come from but I can't shake it or work out what it was.

the first game that came to my mind is Legend of Mana, maybe you played the remaster on switch? You can make golem as a party member and you can adjust their behavior via placing blocks in a grid a la tetris/RE4 inventory system. It is also part of a side quest

Retaining that aspect is surprisingly rare in games for being the whole concept behind golems in actual Jewish folklore. Maybe Vampire: the Masquerade - Redemption?
