The Three Wheels

On the Works card of the Thoth deck, there are three wheels depicted.

The wheels are a symbolic representation. I say they are symbolic, because they all have separate axes.

The true wheels share one, single axis. They are inter-dimensionally concentric wheels of equal circumference.

I will describe one part of this today, and if this post is received positively, I will continue with the rest.

I order to understand, we must begin with Hadit’s statement: “I am the axle of the wheel.”

Hadit is the axle of a wheel that is not. At least… not yet.

And if you consider him to be the axle of the wheel of R.O.T.A., you have spoken a truth at the expense of the truth. Because the greater truth, itself, is written in The Book of the Law, not in The Equinox.

And that truth — which I will make clear later, under the conditions stated here — illuminates the statement in The Equinox, referred to above, regarding the inner order of the A∴A∴: “From all time, therefore, there has been a hidden assembly, a society of the Elect, of those who sought for and had capacity for light, and this interior society was the Axle of the R.O.T.A.”

The key to this understanding is the statement “from all time.” It has a dual meaning. The mistake is in thinking Hadit makes up all that time, by being the axle of the wheel of R.O.T.A., with the A∴A∴. The truth is much, much more interesting: Hadit is all three the axel, every being represented by that axel, and one, single member of the inner order of the A∴A∴.

That third level I mention is reflective of an entirely different structure of reality. And the key to understanding this is in The Book of the Law.

I will address that in my next post, if this post is welcomed, and people express interest

But first, let’s return to the statement above that Hadit is the axle of a wheel that is not. At least… not yet.

“Not yet” is the crucial aspect here to understanding everything I have said so far.

This equates Hadit to the Ain, not the Ain Soph, which is what Crowley attributed him to.

By being the axel of a wheel that is not, Hadit also is not. And he says as much: “For I am perfect, being Not.”

As well, he says, “I am not extended,” emphatically dispelling the idea that he could be the Ain Soph, which is an extension of the Ain.

Question True Will and Taoism, how the two compatible?

• Upvotes

I watched about True Will in one video on YouTube. Now based on my understanding, in all of your desire, it's the common thing that can be found in it. Now, I think deep inside I found the true will.

So first of all, I am inspired by sage archetypes. There's also time before that I want to practice like a yogi from India, yet i learned that I have responsibilities.

How can following your true will with Taoism? Following True Will is forcing right? Different from Wu-Wei in Taoism.

Can I follow the True Will with the path of Taoism?? Without studying Alister Crowley teachings?

Crowley and a "seven-fold scheme of 128 figures" for a divination system?

In the January 1918 edition of The International, Crowley published a very short article on Geomancy as a divination system. The name of the article is "Geomancy By One Who Uses It Daily". Along the way he mentions the Yi King and the Liber 27 trigrams as a comparison to the Geomantic glyphs.

But then he mentions a system that I don't know anything about and here is a quote from the article:

"In pure divination, however, there is a seven-fold scheme of 128 figures, invented by that mysterious Grand Master of the Order of the Temple who hides his identity under the name of Baphomet. It is far too elaborate even to outline in this brief account. ... ... I may here interpolate that the mighty Baphomet not only invented a new and superior system, but actually went to the trouble of creating a new hierarchy of demons to subserve it!"

Is there anywhere this "seven-fold scheme of 128 figures" is discussed and clarified? I'm not familiar with it. I'm assuming Crowley is the "Baphomet" mentioned.

Book Recommendations

I've been on a Thelemic adjacent path for the path couple of years and I think I've gotten quite a bit out of the reading and meditation practices. I was also raised Catholic so the ceremonial aspects are sort of familiar.

My partner was raised without any kind of religious associations but is a naturalist at heart. She's shown interest in growing her spiritual side. I know Crowley's writings and most of the Crowley inspired stuff I enjoy would be a turn off. Too analytical, too many numbers and abstractions right at the outset.

Does anyone know of anything with a more naturalistic vibe but with a similar end goal of K&C, whether it's called that or not. The closest I can think of is Wicca but I don't know that well enough at all to really recommend it.

Thanks for any help.
