Just wondering how often people normally repaint their house. Mine hasn't been painted for quite a while, and I'm thinking it might be time. I am seeing many people doing makeovers for their houses and ads from diffent painting agencies UC ,NoBroker and diffrent influencer. Do people paint their houses every 2 to 3 years, or do they only paint when the paint starts fading away?

JPEG XL (.jxl) offers better compression than traditional JPEG, lossless image storage, HDR support, and even the ability to losslessly recompress existing JPEGs without losing image data.

The catch? Software support has been limited, although things are finally improving. Chrome 155 is adding native JPEG XL support, and Firefox 158 has enabled it by default too this week.

Pros: Smaller files, excellent image quality, lossless compression, HDR and wide colour gamut.

Cons: Older apps and devices may not support it, and sharing .jxl files can still be inconvenient.

Windows users can also get the free JPEG XL Image Extension from the Microsoft Store for free to add system level image support on compatible Windows versions.

Curious how many people here actually use JPEG XL. Is it time to move beyond traditional JPEG, or is software compatibility still too much of a headache?

I need a phone , my mum does too . So last year was the perfect moment to buy the s24fe because budget was around 30-35k . Both of us needed phones and we need all rounder and also os updates for long time . Moto edge 60 pro also was also eye catching .

After my bad experience with a used 2020 Intel MacBook Pro(post link), I’m planning to buy another MacBook, but I’m confused between two options.

I’m a student, and my usage is pretty normal. I’ll mainly use VS Code for coding, run one or two Docker containers, keep around 4–5 tabs open in Safari, and build regular full-stack development projects. I don’t do heavy workloads.

Given my requirements, which would be the better choice?

I know the used Air M4 offers better performance and 16GB RAM, but after what happened with my previous MacBook, I’m a little hesitant about buying used again.

Is buying a used MacBook Air M4 worth the risk, or should I play it safe and get a brand-new MacBook Neo with 512GB storage?

I bought a used 2020 Intel MacBook Pro with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD for ₹25,000. Since it was my first MacBook, I didn’t know much about what to check before buying it.

Unfortunately, after just one year, its motherboard failed. When I got it opened, I discovered that the previous owner had replaced the battery with a very cheap, low-quality third-party battery. Apparently, it developed a short circuit, which damaged the motherboard.

It was a pretty bad experience, but I admit I wasn’t careful enough before buying it. I’ll definitely be more cautious next time.

For those who have bought used MacBooks, how has your experience been? Have you faced similar issues, or has your MacBook lasted for years without problems? I’d love to hear both the good and bad experiences.
