Announcement If You Are An Employee Of TD Bank Bank And Would Like a User Flair Signifying That, Let Us Know.

Send us a ModMail and tell us. Do not post on the board, message us using this link: https://www.reddit.com/message/compose/?to=/r/TDBank

You do not need to identify yourself personally or your branch or location, just say something that lets us know your request is valid.

For now, we're only planning on a general 'Employee' flair text, but if you want a special designation of your job field, we may be able to do that.

Anyone have the TD Business Solutions Credit Card? 250 bonus business credit card

What do you dislike if anything about the business card? Does it report your utilization to your personal credit?

I'm eyeing the card because just seems like an easy to hit 250 bonus

TD Employees - What are your thoughts on this? My experience from Townhall hosted by Mushtak Najarali

I recently attended a townhall hosted by Mushtak Najarali, an executive of North American Phone channels. During his presentation, he said some things that didn't quite sit well with me.

One of them being that during the "AI boom, jobs at TD will be lost" and he wasn't phased at all when he said this. How can someone be so heartless, sitting at such a high position, be so unempathic to those working for him and the bank?

Why must we focus so much on AI that we know for sure people will lose their lively hood? TD employees, I wanted to share this and wanted your thoughts on this. Are all executives like Mushtak Najarali? What your experiences have been at TD?

ATM Transaction Fees at non-U.S. banks with TD debit card???

I have never had a debit card that charged a transaction fee for withdrawing money from an ATM outside the U.S. Granted, it has been a year or two since I was outside the U.S. but now TD Bank is telling me that they charge a 3% transaction fee on any withdrawal from a non-U.S. ATM. This is a shock. They also used to refund any fees the non-U.S. bank charged. Does it depend on the type of account one has at TD?

Does anyone know anything about this? Is this true for all debit cards now? (A local Chase branch told me I need to keep $15,000 in a checking account to avoid such a fee!!)

I have a large account at Vanguard. Do they offer the option of a no-foreign transaction fee debit card that would just deduct funds from my money market account?

Other suggestions? Many thanks.

Mortgage is up for renewal and I see td is promoting an online option. Has anyone used this and had a good experience? Was it worth it over a traditional broker?

Help! Did I got scammed?

Hi guys,

I live in PA USA

I applied for a TD card yesterday. Today, I received a voicemail from 1-866-393-4011 claiming to be TD. I called the number back, and the guy asked for my information, including my SSN, DOB, name, and address. After a few minutes, he told me I was approved.

I know I should have verified the number before calling, but afterward I searched it online and couldn't find any reliable source confirming that 1-866-393-4011 actually belongs to TD. Even ChatGPT thinks the number is fraudulent...

I then called TD's main customer service number at 888-561-8861. The automated system said my application was approved. I then spoke with a representative, but they couldn't find any account under my name or SSN. They also couldn't recognize 1-866-393-4011 as a TD phone number.

I immediately froze my credit after realizing this and am now in full panic mode.

Did I just get scammed? Has anyone received a call from this number before?

The worst bank on that planet

TD Bank is the worst, because it can close your account at any time without specifying the reason. My account was closed, and nobody, even vice-president could not explain me why the account was closed. Just goodbuy and that is it. I would not recommend anyone to use TD Bank.

can’t contact td from overseas

i opened a td bank account when i was in the us 4 years ago. I stayed there for around 3 months and got my scholarship through the td bank checking account. Kept the account open in case i return to the us. I didn’t. It had a small amount of money inside. i cant access my account since i no more have access to the us number. This has been this way for several years now. I tried calling customer service several times over the years, waited hours to reach a customer service representative, gave up. I can’t go to the us to visit a store in person. I want to close the account. Any advice? Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Anyone received an interview for AI2 Data Science Co-op (WINTER 2027) ? I applied 2 weeks ago. So far, complete silence. It's my first time applying for TD positions. Does someone have a timeline in mid regarding when to hear back ? Have anyone heard back yet for this position ?

TD Bank overdraft fees are egregious and disgusting.

Recently - single mom here went in the negative w my TD Checking. They charged us 105 per day for 4 days and 70 today - the fees are up half my check and put us still in the negative. 490 in fees and no they won’t remove them. I literally despise this bank. Will be going to the 15 other banks I found w no overdraft fees . Way to go after and steal from poor ppl.

TD atm took my $2000!

I deposited $2 grand, which I will never do again! the line was long so I just went to the atm. anyways, it took forever to count the ash, making a whirling sound, then said unable to complete transaction, giving me back $50 and my card. the the screen glitched, shut down, then said out of order. I went inside and they said nothing they can do except make a claim. I went back to see if it’s working and it did. i already saw a car using it so I hope they didn’t get my money :( they said it can take up to 7 days. what are the chances that same machine messed up again and gives my money to someone???

Wealth to fraud?

Been with TD over 6 years, currently an Associate Investment Advisor in Wealth. I’m just not sure I’m cut out for it. Sales isn’t really my thing and I don’t love learning about investment products, the markets etc. I do love most clients and get a lot out of relationships with them. I’ve always been curious about fraud/aml/investigation type stuff as I love analyzing things and have a strong sense of justice. I’m not in a major city so I don’t know if it would be possible to work fully remote in a fraud, type position? Also wondering if AI might be taking over some roles? If I stick it out with wealth I’d likely earn a fair amount more and perhaps have a bit of a more flexible schedule (but also dealing with potentially upset clients, having to work very long hours sometimes, questioning investment decisions..)..suffice to say I’m not sure if I’m cut out for it and I’m not all that motivated by money. Would love to hear some thoughts from others! TIA 🙏🏼
