So they held a bond vote today but Carlson was out sick so they only had 6 voters and they voted on the bonds 3-3 so it failed. It was supposed to be a procedural issue that they were obligated to approve because they already passed spending $80 million. Charlie Miranda, Guido Maniscalco, and Lynn Hurtak voted no and the bond vote died. At that point Carlson (who was home sick with an apparent stomach bug) called in and said he could vote remotely...so the restarted the meeting and took another vote and the bond deal passed 4-3.

I know the post title is screwed up!! Tried to get the post up before leaving early for work, and everything *but* the title can be edited.

64°F at game time - no rain in the forecast.

Be Civil, don't bring your crap here. No Trolling and no trolling other subs.

It's time again, Flappy Friends! Taking our momentum and Raysball to the "ringless" home of the Guardians. Be PROUD & LOUD wherever you are!

Let's beat them in their house and RAYS UP!

In game 1, we were brutally punished by Their Holy Fickleness the BABIP gods.

Before game 2, some of us offered sacrifices to the BABIP gods. In game 2, they smiled upon us.

I can only conclude, scientifically, that we must therefore continue to make offerings upon Their Unknowable Altar.

Please post them below.

I race in an iRacing league that runs the NASCAR Truck Series trucks every Wednesday night. I’ve made it a habit to redesign my paint scheme every week because I get bored of running the same thing all the time. Usually, my scheme is based on some sort of theme that’s local to the track where we’re racing, but nothing stood out to me for this week’s race, so I turned to the Rays for inspiration.

Pretty much just the title, Id like to pick up a player Like Hiromi Itoh.

After that Dodgers game, maybe cash was onto something about taking Snell out before the third round of the lineup.

*Edit: I know the situations aren’t fully comparable, but I thought it would be a fun conversation peice.

Another fun Ray in high A. Just hitting the shit out of the baseball. Anyone see him play live? Feel like he’s not getting talked about enough.

Only good thing about an off day is we don’t have to hear “IT DOES NOT HIT THE RING” on every single pop-up.

I miss Dwayne and the real BA.

Rays up from Stonehenge fellow Flappy Bois!!

Anyone else going? I swear a few years ago I was the only one there repping Rays. Was seeing if anyone else is making the trip?
