Like the title asks, is anyone else noticing this? I drive a lot and I used to rarely see people driving around at night with no lights on. I’m now seeing 1-2 per night on average nearly every single day. Is it just me?

A mid-decade redistricting session sliced Pinellas and Hillsborough counties up into new congressional districts. In Hillsborough, some of Democratic U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor’s constituents are now voting in GOP U.S. Rep. Gus Bilirakis’ district. And GOP U.S. Rep. Laurel Lee is running to represent a district that includes much of Bilirakis’ old territory in Citrus and Hernando counties. In April, Gov. Ron DeSantis’ office proposed a redistricting plan that created four more red-leaning seats in Congress, imperiling four Democratic incumbents. State officials maintain that the map was not designed for partisan gain. Left-leaning organizations have filed lawsuits claiming the map violates Florida’s Fair Districts Amendment, which prohibits partisan gerrymandering. But the map is in place for the 2026 elections. I found this Psytrance & Goa event happening in Miami this Saturday, October 17.

Psytrance is my favorite genre, but it’s been hard to find events in the US that focus on it. Most events I come across lean more toward dubstep or heavier genres, which aren’t really my thing.

As the title says im currently in a pretty shitty financial hole right now that might not get better any time soon. Just had a 727 number leave a voicemail for me from the “Pinellas County Sheriffs Office” as a Deputy “Michael Owens” regarding clarification on a document, addressing me by my full name. They stated to call back the non-emergency line at the same number they dialed from.

A quick Google search shows that’s 100% not the non-emergency line from PCSO and called them to confirm that the number I was called from is not associated with their department.

Even though I haven’t been wrapped up in anything, you never know! But it sure gave me a scare before my critical thinking kicked in. Just stay vigilant, everyone!

Hi! I recently got a 10 month old rescue dog. She is perfect except she gets way too excited and will get really nippy after playing. I feel like my husband and I have tried every training suggestion that’s out there and nothing seems to work. I need to get her into training at this point. Anyone have good suggestions for dog trainers?
