‘Disconnection’ forms part of a triptych that explores three states: birth, an altered state of consciousness, and this final state, which addresses the moment when consciousness becomes aware of its own freedom. And this is where I leave it to the viewer to fill in the remaining gap: is consciousness sinking in search of something else, or is it emerging once more?

An automatic drawing that I later shaded and fleshed out. I enjoy body horror and strange sculpted shapes.
