Here is the hypothetical
You are a boxer/are training said boxer in a world of Superpowers, bullshit, and your goal is to prove that anyone can defeat superpowered fighters.
I will present you with 3 fights, 3 opponents for you to go toe to toe with, their abilities, their stature, and so on.
So, what is the gap? How far does a boxer have to push themselves to beat each of them? Are super powers simply required? Do you need to train them to dodge everything under the sun? Or does knockout power matter more? Do you have to train them to be the best tactical fighter known to man, or can just a really well thought out strategy work?
It you DO decide to say fuck it and give your boxer powers, what is the WEAKEST possible ability that would close the gap to make winning possible?
(Also generally a discussion on Superpowers and combat sports, what regulations are in place, how do the rules change, and divisions and all that)
So, here are your opponents...
First is a lightweight boxer known as The Waterbug He has 4 arms and a set of wings on his back. While these wings are flapping, he can manipulate his friction, allowing him, with a single push or step, slide across and around the ring as he pleases. His punches are pretty average for his weight and size, the issue is the 4 arms and speed.
He is a young green fighter and in your match you will both be doing your first public match.
The second is a Middleweight fighter known as The Giraffe. Standing 10 feet tall, with most of that being his neck and some of his torso, his strikes will be coming from on high, and his head is much of the time out of reach leaving his stomach and chest being your main target.
He is a older fighter with years of experience, that is just starting to creep up on him, your fight with him will likely be one of his last good ones before he retires.
Last is a heavyweight boxer known as The Disco Man. With reflective skin, any and all light that hits him can be reflected and warped into making him a disco ball of blinding light, making the simple ability to see a detriment as keeping track of him is difficult, but also simply knowing where a punch is coming from or what side. He is also known for record of knock outs, as when your opponent can't see, its easy.
He is in his prime.
Those are your opponents, for each assume you are in their weight division for each fight.
