Everything.

Walking, breathing, talking, basic human things.

Then we can get into every single policy decision.

Obama was far from perfect, he made mistake, he did things I wouldn't have done, he didn't do things I would have.

But in every single way Obama is and was a better human not just President than Trump.

Y'all would call me right wing but I still think Obama was 10x better than trump

We love an actual principled conservative instead of a blind MAGAt cultist

u/115zombies935 18h ago

Political leaning has got nothing to do with it. Obama actually seemed to care about humans. whereas Trump cares only about the money in his bank account.

u/pfcgos 17h ago

And yet, an entire political party and a lot of "conservatives" worship Trump and follow his every word.

u/AutoGrind 17h ago

Maga is not conservative by definition, but the opposite. They are pretty extreme.

4

u/pfcgos 17h ago

But, again, the majority of American conservatives not only align themselves with MAGA, but actively support Trump and refuse to even acknowledge his wrongdoings. We can argue over whether MAGA is conservative (I would argue they are extremist conservatives), but at the end of the day, what matters for this conversation is whether conservatives support them, which they do for the most part.

u/Whitey53 9h ago

That’s why they’re called a “cult”

2

u/pfcgos 9h ago

You won't hear me arguing that they aren't one

1

u/70monocle 5h ago

Their values are whatever trump says they are that day.

u/Cy_Maverick 1h ago

Radical conservative nationalists.

3

u/MrReaper45 16h ago

Romney's Republican party is dead, I miss the days when Republicans actually had spines and didn't bow down to a wannabe fascist dictator Russian asset loyal to Israel. This timeline is the worst

0

u/shanaballs 14h ago

You went one too far there. Every American president has been loyal to Israel, as well they should be

3

u/Whitey53 9h ago

None of them attacked Iran at the behest of Netanyahu until Trump.

-1

u/shanaballs 9h ago

I totally agree. He’s a moron on top of being corrupt, and I’m no fan of Bibi’s either, not by a long stretch. But that’s different than saying we shouldn’t be loyal to the country which is both our only true ally and the only westernized democracy in the region

2

u/Whitey53 9h ago

Iran was a democracy until they decided to own and control their own oil.

2

u/pancreaticlemons1 8h ago

what do you mean by “as well they should be” in regards to the country actively committing countless war crimes, general atrocities, and what many scholars would constitute as genocide?

2

u/ALoversTool 13h ago

they’re not real conservatives. They’re RINOs.

2

u/AdIllustrious5811 12h ago

Cult bud, cult

1

u/Inevitable-Today6456 5h ago

He has dirt on them all

2

u/refresh82 18h ago

Name one thing that he has done for Black Americans ??

1

u/marcopollo89 12h ago

How full his diaper pockets can get

1

u/capnhep 6h ago

And this is the craziest part about his followers- he is not enriching their lives!

1

u/Middle_Confection653 17h ago

"Political leaning has got nothing to do with it."

You have it exactly backwards.

Replace "Obama" with "Democrats" and "Trump" with "Republicans" and it almost perfectly explains the political system in the US since Nixon.

u/Minute-Review6915 17h ago

Obama didn’t care about people unless they could do something for him. He had a great PR team and could speak extremely well. Hes done me everything the left complains about. Completely taking money from groups. Made millions off being the president. Did everything he could to help himself and his friends

3

u/androjuicy 17h ago

He actually became a millionaire from his book sales, which, while related to his presidency and his electoral run, is actually just earned income from what most of us would consider to be a real job. He was a successful author.

-2

u/Minute-Review6915 12h ago

If you think it’s not quid pro quo you are delusional. Look at Netflix. Guessing you were aware he gave them ambassadorships during his term as well as many others. Numerous FCC policies were changed as well to benefit them as well as other. Weird how that works. As for calling him an author he didn’t write anything. Someone else did just like every other major political “author”

u/DrillteamJMoney 14h ago

MAGA in itself made me respect conservatives in an entirely different light. Before MAGA politics wasn’t that deep truly now because of that asshole Republicans look bad, conservatives look bad, Christians look bad, rich people allllll look bad, democrats look AWFUL, like MAGA in and of itself was the cancerous mole that spread and fucked everything up.

u/ASuperLameUserName 11h ago

I’m a bartender in Las Vegas currently. My bar is filled with MAGA. I want to say, for myself, on a daily basis, the worst is the validation. At a surface level these MAGAs feel entitled to be sexist, racist, bigots… you name it. They have a voice. I’ve bartended across the country for 20 years. I’ve have never seen anything like this. Apparently they’re allowed to say the N word now openly. Trust me, I shut it down, but a majority of this has not been a problem before.
I hate it.

More of this

4

u/dRaidon 21h ago

No such thing as a principled conservative in the USA.

1

u/IjoinedFortheMemes 18h ago

Hi. Tis said principaled conservative.

1

u/Happy-Medicine-3600 18h ago

I have to disagree. I have quite a few conservative friends. People who hate that abortion is used as birth control, but also understand it is necessary healthcare. They want small government , with fewer handouts, but understand we have a responsibility to feed and educate our population. None of them voted for Trump. I believe we need competent conservatives. The problem is, at least in my experience is most(but definitely not all) conservatives, are just uneducated, and lack the “tools”, needed to figure out if what they are being fed is misinformation or not.

1

u/mabradshaw02 12h ago

Wait... "Principled" and "Conservative" cannot be used in a sentence, really, ever. At least not in THAT way.

-1

u/Previous_Sea_8495 19h ago

I voted for Trump and I think I regret it now lol

u/Grouched 19h ago edited 19h ago

If you voted for Trump this time around and didnt want things to go this way, you are insanely naive, sorry to say.

Everything was way out in the open about what he would do and how he acts. The lying, corruption, crimes, temper tantrums, fascism, all of it.

He did all of it the first time around too and there was literally no reason to assume it would be different. He wasnt even trying to pretend it would.

If you voted for him again the second time, you voted FOR exactly what has happened with open eyes.

Glad you woke up from the kool-aid slumber, though, even if it was very late.

2

u/Previous_Sea_8495 12h ago

I definitely was and still am naive. Can't argue with you there. Lol

I didn't start following politics until 2016. And honestly, I still to struggle to make sense of all this craziness.

u/HotShrekBoi 18h ago

Own up to it then. Vote blue

-1

u/DonBADoobin 21h ago

Absolutely no we do not
