I convinced a friend to tune in last night for the game. He had never watched an STL game and while it was an exciting match, I felt bad that his first impression was a 0-0 score line.

I swore to him that it wasn't normally like this.. and that made me think, "Wait.. when was the last time STL had a 0-0 draw?"

I pulled up our match history and sure enough, there they were.. Our last 0-0 draw was almost 18 months ago versus none other than the WHITECAPS.

Right???

At Ballpark Village

I haven’t watched the post-game interview yet but did they say anything about the concussions and injuries? Have we heard anything?

AI provided some and some I remember.

On another tab playing around with "Where are they now?" for former players.

Nice article here from Backheeled on Damet and City. Really enjoyed the discussion about the various play styles and the anecdote about when the players bought in. Give it a read!

Did anyone catch what he said before he opted out of the game? Poor dude. Hope he’s okay.

2 A+ national anthems tonight by the woman who sang them.

Amazing .

Thought this would be fun to revisit on the night we clinched the playoffs.

Not that it's a bad thing but our crowd noise is louder than the announcers tonight.

Thought this was cool to see wish he was a little higher OVR but i’ll take it!

Here's the Match Preview card for CITY's battle for first in the West with the Whitecaps tonight.

Can I watch tonight?

I'm looking for something to do before going to the game tonight. Is there any kind of pregame / tailgate activity downtown tonight before the game, perhaps with food tents/trucks?

We all know there’s a certain percentage of people who hate Taylor. We also know that Reddit is known as location where people like the voice they dislike.

But can we all agree that some of you hate him and just stop bashing him in every thread every time he’s the announcer for one of our games?

Frankly, I like him. I think he and Jake work really well together. Taylor knows 500 times more than each one of you about the game and the people in the game.

Yes, you’re entitled to your opinion. It is just so tedious hearing you go on and on about him.

There are announcers in every sport that a small group of people dislike. You’re in that group. You’re allowed to not like him, but many of us are just tired of you saying it all the time.

Please I just ask you to hold your thoughts to yourself. We’ve heard you we get it.

I know it was a long, battle of attrition game, and the team had just played last Saturday..

But we clinched the playoffs! For the first time since our inaugural season!!

We just broke the all-time record for consecutive games being unbeaten!!!

The supporters section was holding scarfs, beating drums, singing songs.. like they have for YEARS. Through the good times and the bad.

And all the team did was a lackadaisical walk around the stadium, a few claps and then walked to the tunnel.

It was just so strange to me. No fist pumps? No team walk toward the supporters? No acknowledgement really??

Let them sing you song for Christ sake. Bask in the moment. Share some of the passion they’ve shown you.

The fans deserved better imo.
