Usually I used to grab them in those blankets cd cases and put them back outside but wondering if I should even bother if it is not dangerous and since I cant find my cd case anymore.

Found this beautiful orb weaver when I almost ran face first into her web. With the flood light above her, she's getting stocked up on food. 🤣 In all seriousness, I've never seen a spider this large, in person, that wasn't a tarantula. She's massive. And gorgeous!

I was enjoying some last rays of sunshine on my balcony in South Germany. There are like 17 ladybugs on the wall here and I noticed one of them limping. When I tried to get off the thing that made it limp, I noticed that a spider was trying to hunt it. If anyone can tell me what spider that is I’d appreciate it but mostly I just wanted to share this neat video.

Can anyone id this spider I found when putting on my sweater? It is quite large. Front range Colorado.

This is the third one I’ve seen in a week! I think it’s a non-venomous wolf spider? I have a toddler who really likes spiders so I want to get a second opinion. Western North Carolina, USA.

It used to chill on the ceiling for quite a while but today I found it death curling on the floor. It's a Cheiracanthium mildei, I believe.

It is more yellow than the photos portray. It was walking across the wood deck in London, UK. About 1.5” all together. My cat surprised it and it flipped over (stayed like that for a while…maybe playing dead?) but I put it back upright and in the garden.

Located in Round Rock, TX. Really fast but also took long pauses when frantically running around.

I wasn't able to get a picture of it, but it had a red, white and black body, and was found in a pile of decaying pine branches. I'm in southern Canada if it helps.
