Personal Best Snowboard Kids 2 | The final boss' last second barrier was just broken with Tommy!

Trying to break the "Tommy is too hard for SBK2" stigma :) Took well over 500 attempts to beat my previous best of 17.200 from june of last year.

There's also a playlist including all boss fights/character/board combos necessary for speedrunning any category if anyone picks up this game in the future! Also the runner’s spreadsheet I’m working on with tech and other resources (still a WIP)

Time starts at 7.133 and ends at 23.850 at 60 fps to get a final time of 0h 0m 16s 717ms. Retimed using frame-timer

Love me some snowboard kids!! Every time I fight this boss as a kid it always took me until right at the end of the course, if I was able to beat him at all. GG!

thanks so much! it was such a struggle for me to beat these bosses growing up, too! nowadays they’re so much easier, but there’s still a lot of rng involved for a fight this clean.

this photo finish on dino race with the ice board is probably the closest i’ve gotten to that childhood feeling of accomplishment lol

I know of this game but didn't know it wasn't just a snowboarding game. I definitely didn't have chasing a giant robot with explosive Roombas on my bingo card. Are you sure you didn't load up EDF?

haha! i promise you this is not earth defense force. there's 3 total boss fights/races in the game and they're all pretty goofy, but a fight with a gundam definitely feels out of left-field, even if you watch the cutscenes
