Looking for some nail tech recommendations in Sligo town. I have naturally long, strong nails so I'd just like Shellac but with designs/decorations. I currently get Shellac every 2-3 weeks in Westend Beauty but it's just basic single colour as they don't do designs. Any recommendations would be great thanks x

My daughter's long thick straight hair needs a good couple of inches taking off.

She likes to keep it as long as possible and avoids hair cuts, so ideally I want the experience to feel like a treat.

We've had a couple of bad experiences with recent cuts - one was different lengths at the front, one had an awful ragged line that I had to correct myself. I dont think the cut is complicated, and I'd even watch You Tube and tackle it myself ... but I'm sure there is a difference between it being done "ok" and being done professionally.

We're not looking for a kids cut, and expecting to pay for a proper cut and blow dry.
Can anyone recommend a salon + stylist who enjoys cutting long hair and can do it really well?

Organic cow's milk (preferably unpasteurised/raw or minimally processed straight from a pasture-fed farm)

Local raw honey (straight from the beekeeper/farm hives)

If you are a local producer or know the best spots to stock up, please drop your recommendations in chat.

My partner and I have to wait in Sligo for an hour and a half today (until 1pm) and I was thinking "it's fine we'll just get breakfast or lunch while we wait since we haven't eaten"
It seems like nothing at all is open...
There's only a couple super fancy restaurants, or no veggie options that aren't sad salads (we are both vegetarian)

There were two really nice options (shells seaside cafe and cottage cafe) and I was relieved after half an hour of searching on Google, but they're not in Sligo city, they're actually too far out for us to reach them on time 😭

I searched if there's at least market stalls today but apparently the market is only on Saturday.

Is Sligo a completely dead town on a Sunday or is the Internet not showing all the options? I'm quite surprised to be honest.

so i’m moving to sligo for college and im looking to rejoin a gym in the town, im about 8 mins away from TNT and that seems to be the cheapest at €35, ROM is €55 and 22 mins away from me. Which one is more worth it?

Anyone ever want to try rowing in Sligo there is an open day this Saturday. It's fun to try something different and personally I really enjoy it as a team sport. The club is well run and the members are sound. You don't have to row competitively there is a recreational group too, so participation is flexible there too 😁
