As the title says is there anywhere that's particularly worth photographing in October/November in Donegal (given the weather and the lighting conditions) and why?
Thanks

I’ve been looking for ages now for people interested in starting a hardcore, post hardcore, 2nd wave emo or emo/shoegazey project.
I’m open to other genres as well!
Please message me if you’re interested!

Dia Daobh Dún na nGall! I'm just reminiscing about my holidays to Falcarragh every summer when I was a kid. Around 30 years ago or more I met a lad living in Falcarragh called Sean. He and his mum had moved over from Scotland. I used to meet up with him every summer. I'm just wondering if anyone in or around Falcarragh that knows him or knew him. Go raibh maith agaibh ✌🏻
EDIT: We used to sit in the pool room at the back of Coyles cafe

Hello,
We are going to travel to Ireland next week, we are going to spend there 8 days, with two little and very active kids (2 and 4 years old). We prefer the outdoor programs, not indoor museums, and safe ones (I am afraid that they can fall at Moher Cliffs, so now we skip). We plan to come back and explore the South -West part also later, so now I concentrate on North and West until Galway.
First day we get a car, go Wicklow Woods.
Second day we go Dublin in the morning and after near Donegal (accomodation).
Third-fourth day we spend there and visit Glenveagh National Park, Silver Strand,… Is there any nice place here to visit? Small ruins, castle, nice waterfall without a hiking?
Fifth day we go next to Galway. What to see on the way?
Sixth and seventh day visit Kylemore Abbey and garden, Connemara National Park.
Eight day maybe Kilkenny on the way to airport (evening flight).
We would like to have an easygoing holiday, I am sure we will stop next to the road if we see something cute, birds, ruins, lakes, etc. So I need your ideas about cute little “hidden gems” at this part of the country.
Thanks for your ideas!

Hi I am looking for somewhere to rent in the west of Ireland, I am a preacher of God and have been invited to speak at many events and church's up west of Ireland, I can pay the full rent in advance with a tenancy agreement of course, I am looking for a 2 bedroom preferably but a 1 bedroom would suffice, I do travel with my mother and two dogs so pets would have to be allowed, I can give references and more details if anybody could help or get back to me it would be much appreciated

Finn Harps voting comes up next week on the sale of the club to Freddy Gonzalez. What are your thoughts on the clubs potential (and highly likely) sale?

Hi everyone, im new to letterkenny and I just bought a bike to commute from home to work and back. I wanted to know if there are any rules on how I should ride a bike (on the side of the road or the pathway when there isnt a bike lane?) and are there any unspoken rules?

When I was in primary school, we used to take a yearly walk (or 7-seater car ride if you were too lazy) to a shore nearby Newtowncunningham. Fast forward X amount of years, I’m wondering what this shore is. I can’t recall a name as it was just called “the shore”. Would anybody have a notion about what it might’ve been? It was surely by salt water as it had sand, and it was only an hours walk from the primary school Moyle National School. Any ideas about directions to it as I’d love to visit again. Thanks.

Well, Donegal Reddit gang!
Question. I tried to fly Dublin to Carrickfinn before and the winds meant we couldn’t land and I ended up missing a wedding because of it.
Similar situation is coming up and I don’t want to drive. Fuck the fucking ridiculous lack of train to Donegal!
Does the above situation happen frequently or was this just bad luck? This particular flight is to collect someone to bring them to Dublin for an appt so it’s ‘’more important’ I suppose.
I realise we don’t know what the weather will be like in a few weeks time 😂 Just wondering does this happen a good bit!

I’m being a big old nosey bitch but this is prime Reddit… I drove through Lower Crevery nr Rathmullan a wee while back and saw 2 houses that looked unfinished and abandoned - does anyone know what the story is with them? An internet search tells me they were built 2005 ish and were up for sale 5 years ago but don’t seem to have been sold. Mica?

Hey everyone,
I have a hawley retainer and I'm looking for an orthodontist who can fix it in letterkenny or surrounding areas. I enquired with Blue poppy - they said they can fix it but they aren't accepting medical card patients at the minute and I have a medical card. Anyone know any other orthodontists around who can fix this and accept medical card holders? I'd be interested to see too how much it would cost if I just paid for it myself. Anyone have any experience?
