Are there any serial killers active right now ? I really haven't heard of a mainstream killer since the " BeltWay Sniper " . I know there are tons of documentaries of newer cases , but no one has really got the spotlight like Bundy or Denise Rader ( B.T.K ) .

Reading Liz Kendall’s memoir I am struck how, at least early on, Bundy was a pretty devoted partner. She describes someone who seemed happy with her, emotionally vulnerable, and showing no big red flags. Again, this is early on. Was this because he compartmentalized, keeping the disturbed psyche pushed down enough? I don’t think she would’ve felt such a strong connection if he was just miming being in love. Thanks for thoughts on this.
