Making a tabletop RPG and preparing its crowdfunding campaign are different kinds of work. A creator can have a distinctive setting and a good manuscript while still needing to make the campaign page, reward structure and marketing communicate it clearly.

Hi, I am Renato Franchi from Senshi Consulting. This is a transparent introduction to my crowdfunding consulting and campaign marketing work for independent TTRPG creators and small publishers.

Depending on the project, that work can include reviewing prelaunch and campaign pages, planning the campaign, preparing creative briefs and copy, managing Meta advertising, and coordinating the materials and access needed to get started. The scope is agreed for the individual project.

Our current tabletop RPG work includes Ink Tales by Mist Games, Accidental Heroes: A Shipwreck of Fools by Revel Tales, and Fishmongers by Mudskipper Studios. Those projects have different audiences and formats, so the way we explain them needs to start with the actual game and its players.

If you are preparing a campaign, useful starting questions are: what can a prospective backer try or read, which reward contains the essential product, and what is the clearest reason this game is different? That is the kind of groundwork I help creators organise.

The strange thing that crawls out of the harbour does not have to be another generic sea monster. Fishmongers gives an aquatic encounter its own cast of 18 miniature designs, alongside a 5e bestiary and a one-shot adventure.

Disclosure: I am Renato from Senshi Consulting, supporting Mudskipper Studios on the campaign. The studio was created by character and creature artist J. Curtis Parker. The project combines physical miniature and STL reward options with material for bringing the creatures into a tabletop RPG.

For GMs, the interesting part is the connection between the figures and the adventure material. For painters and people with 3D printers, the campaign page shows the creature designs and the different ways to get them. Check individual tiers for exactly which miniatures and digital files they include.

Hi everyone! I'm the creator of Hideous Hiss, a project making dark ambient music and atmospheric soundscapes for tabletop RPGs. My tracks cover horror, mystery, sci-fi, and dark fantasy, and are designed as seamless 10-minute loops for use during sessions.

My latest release is Thick as Night — a slow, uneasy piece built around a deep, steady hum and unnerving strings. Occasional timpani strikes and scattered low-string staccatos disturb the calm. It's intended for those moments when nothing seems to be happening, but the players can sense something is wrong.
