Hi everyone! I'm the creator of Hideous Hiss, a project making dark ambient music and atmospheric soundscapes for tabletop RPGs. My tracks cover horror, mystery, sci-fi, and dark fantasy, and are designed as seamless 10-minute loops for use during sessions.

My latest release is Thick as Night — a slow, uneasy piece built around a deep, steady hum and unnerving strings. Occasional timpani strikes and scattered low-string staccatos disturb the calm. It's intended for those moments when nothing seems to be happening, but the players can sense something is wrong.

Here's a collection of magic items from the Asian Mythology section of my Mythological Items compendium!

There's a little bit of everything here: legendary weapons like Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi and the Gada of Hanuman, Bhima's Gauntlet, the Katana of the Sword Saint, the mysterious Pill of Immortality, and more unusual treasures like the Kappa's Water Dish, Jizo Charm Beads, and the Copper Yantra Plate.

I wanted this section to explore different aspects of Japanese, Chinese, and Indian mythology and folklore, from divine weapons and sacred relics to smaller magical objects with interesting abilities and uses in a campaign. Some are powerful legendary treasures, others are more modest items that adventurers might discover much earlier in their journeys.

We received a new shipment of merchandise at our shop The Blind Goblin. We have dragon skeleton earrings that are very cute. Some dark humor earrings that is sure to get a laugh. We stocked D20 earrings that are real 20-sided polyhedral dice dangling from your earlobes. We have them in blue, black, and purple.
We got in an unusual RPG themed product. They are metal bookmarks with a royal blue D20 on their tops. They are attractive and useful. They could also be used as a money clip.
Next, we stocked large metal D20 charm necklaces. These are very attractive and well made. They are unisex. We have them in silver and gold. We also received a few Dungeon Master medallion necklaces. The medallions are hefty and fairly large. They have “Dungeon Master” emblazoned on them and are intricately designed with filigree and symbols. They come in a burnished copper color.
