The dynamic of my story is built around a significant power imbalance. He is a middle aged Norman knight and an occupying force, considerably older than she is, and occupies a very high position in society. He has power and authority, and he has imprisoned her and her allies..

At the same time, he is fascinated by her and convinced that he wants to possess her. She is Jewish, a healer, and in danger of being denounced as a witch. All she seemingly wants is to escape her situation and ensure the safety of her people.

He blackmails her by making her believe that she can save the others by giving in to him and turning to him. He even sees himself as her benefactor, convinced that he is offering her protection rather than simply exploiting his position of power. But she resists him as much as she possibly can.

In my interpretation, however, she secretly finds him very attractive, despite herself. From there, what happens between them can develop organically.

I also like pur characters starting as children, like 13, 14 cause it adds more time and potential for growth in my opinion. I dont really use proper plots. This is a long ad, just a forewarning! As usual with my plots, I’m happy for you to play a character of any gender.

Now those little disclaimers are out of the way let’s get into it! As I mentioned in the disclaimers above I am looking to play my trans MtF oc, Erica. This isn’t really up for debate and it’s what I’m looking to pursue so to emphasise what I said above, if you’re not okay playing against her then I’m not the writer for you. If you are then that’s great! The only specific requirement I have for your character is that you play some form of top/dom/‘giver’ etc. Erica is not a dominant character and this will not work if you’re not able to play someone along those lines, regardless of gender identity. We can obviously get into the nitty gritty of that if you message me off this ad, but that’s a surface level summary.

Now a little bit about me! I go by Blue online, I’m 26, I’m trans femme (She/They) and my timezone is GMT! I have a very random schedule, but I can promise (bar anything extraordinary) that I can get you at least a couple of replies a day at a minimum. I’m completely ok with chatting ooc or keeping it mainly rp and things relating to that, although if we vibe ooc the that’s always a plus. I am super enthusiastic about this specific oc (I’ve even got a Pinterest board and multiple artwork commissions for her) so the more opportunities to fit her backstory and surrounding concepts of her character into the rp, the happier I’ll be.

In terms of writing I can go anywhere from 200 to 800+ words depending on scenes, your level of detail input and etc. I understand the length is usually scene dependant, I’m not expecting a novella response for dialogue heavy scenes and etc. I’m happy with many replies a day or infrequent ones, although I do really prefer a minimum of at least a few replies a week.

Now onto some plot details. So I have the most background and material for this to be set in a medieval/fantasy style (not a deal breaker) with varying levels of fantasy elements depending on what we decide. It can be no magic, low/practical magic, high level magic or anywhere on the scale. I have tried to include as many plot details in the starter as I could without it feeling spoonfed but essentially the idea I have is that your character is a royal (king, queen, prince/princess, etc.) of xyz kingdom. You’re known across the entire realm for savagery, barbaric war practices, a brutal lack of mercy and tolerance, all the rest yadayada. In reality this is a carefully constructed farce, and upon reaching your homeland my character discovers it’s essentially a utopia or paradise, and all the reputation has been a farce of rumours combined with a regular bandit warband that follows your regular armed forces and leaves these bloody scenes behind. I am looking for this to be primarily a romance, with all the background stuff there to help the plot along, give long-term goals and provide antagonistic elements if necessary.

A little bit of backstory is that Erica is, as I said, a trans princess. Her father accepted this and has managed to prevent her mother from killing her, but not from suffering the abuse of day to day life. When Queen Francesca, her mother, found out about this treatise she took it as an opportunity to rid herself of Erica, shipping her off with everything else. Your character and the wider realm will have no idea who Erica is.

I know the starter is extremely vague and it’s deliberately left that way for maximum creativity/originality. I really wanna see where this one can go with such little influence from me! I’ll cut the ad off there, please put your favourite book or movie in your message to prove you’ve read the ad. Erica’s calves were screaming with pain as once again the wooden container swung and as a result jostled her around inside, adding additional splinters to the skin of her exposed shoulder and craning her neck into a more uncomfortable position than before. She had no idea how long she’d been curled up inside the huge ornate chest; after a while, the lack of sunlight made this impossible to determine. She’d been cruelly hidden inside one of the two dozen chests packed onto a boat and sent off to (kingdom), a grand gesture of treatise from her mother and a convenient way to finally dispose of her secret daughter. (Kingdom) was known far and wide to be a brutal, inhospitable place, full of the lowest criminals, seediest mercenaries, and by far the most ruthless and deranged military force the realm had ever known. Their rumours and notoriety were known across all the lands, and Erica knew all of that was exactly why she’d been sent. A ship full of gold, fabrics, rare gems, even alcohol and cooking supplies, had been supplemented with a stowaway. It had not been her mother's initial idea to stuff her so humiliatingly into a chest, but when Pietrov, the head knight of the royal protectorate and Queen Francesca’s companion in Erica’s seemingly perpetual torment, suggested it, the Queen could barely manage her assent through fits of wicked laughter. She knew with the calibre of savagery present, she would no doubt be viewed as some form of assassination attempt or subterfuge, and would almost certainly be killed.

It was obvious to Erica she was finally being moved, as the motion of the entire thing was now vastly different to the gentle swaying she’d experienced before whilst stationary on the Sachrean shipping vessel. Her heart began to race inside her chest as she felt the telltale bobbing of being carried, knowing they’d finally arrived and had started to unload the ship’s cargo. She would’ve been yelling for help to whoever carried her container if she had not screamed herself hoarse hours before. Still, deep down she knew the inches-thick treated wooden walls combined with the burlap strip tied round her head and stuffed into her mouth as a rudimentary gag left no opportunity for her feeble noises to escape. Strips of burlap cut from the same discarded sack bound her wrists behind her back and her ankles together beneath the skirt, both sets of bindings now having chafed her skin raw in her useless attempts to escape, long since given up.

She felt her prison finally hit the ground with a sudden spike of pain through her aching muscles, and then all was still. She waited there, silent, ears straining at the edge of her perception to try and glean any kind of auditory cue as to her fate. Finally, when the careless rattle and insertion of the key into the padlock of the chest came, it was practically deafening, and Erica couldn’t help the flinch that came with the sudden apprehension and terror of her impending doom. Another second of noise, then the arched lid of the chest flew open abruptly, letting the harsh light outside flood into the previously pitch-black interior, the sudden and violent change in light levels making Erica’s eyes water as she slammed them shut, freezing in terror as her fate finally arrived.

One of my favorite romance tropes has always been the classic jock x outcast. Something I’ve noticed, however, is that the jock/sporty character is always a male! I’d like to change that up. And, of course, my second favorite trope is enemies to lovers - more than happy to sprinkle that in!

With the NHL season in full swing (and not so patiently waiting for PWHL games) hockey is very heavy on my mind. You don’t have to know the most about the sport, I promise you won’t be quizzed!

My character is a rising star amongst the league. She plays defense and is the captain of her team - Seattle Vipers (a fictional professional team). She’s arrogant, loud, and a bit mean. Being mean has served her well as a defenseman but makes relationships difficult. Will your character be able to look past all of her attitude? Is there something sweeter underneath all of it? Who knows!!

As for writing style, I prefer third person and using “” for speech. Walls of italics are difficult for me to read. I typically write anywhere from 3-7 paragraphs depending on how much detail is needed, but can usually exceed the disc character limit.

A girl and a boy meeting at a party where they hit it off and fall for one another, seems like just an ordinary love story until they find out that they are both living lives tied to mafia groups, your character would be the daughter of the mafia boss my character is rivals with and they will come to discover this when the both of them are already a couple and will have to figure out how to navigate through the turmoil in order to stay together.

I’m looking for a longterm fantasy RP partner for a story about a demon swordsman, a world full of magic and danger, and two characters whose paths might change each other’s lives in ways neither of them expected.

I’m imagining a fantasy setting filled with ancient kingdoms, forgotten ruins, powerful magic, supernatural creatures, celestial beings, dangerous forests, and towns with secrets of their own. There are heroes and villains, but the line between them isn’t always as clear as people would like to believe.

Our story could involve dangerous journeys, unexpected alliances, political conflicts, ancient curses, monster hunting, or simply two characters crossing paths and discovering that their lives are becoming more intertwined than they intended.
And beneath all the adventure, I’d love a story about a character who has spent much of his life looking after himself, slowly learning that he doesn’t always have to.

🩸 My Character — The Demon Swordsman
My character is a demon who follows his own rules. He’s not entirely evil, but he’s certainly no saint, either. He does what he wants, makes his own decisions, and doesn’t feel particularly obligated to live by anyone else’s morals.

He’s dangerous, confident, and highly capable with a sword. He can be ruthless when necessary, sarcastic when amused, and difficult to reason with when he’s made up his mind. He isn’t interested in pretending to be a hero, nor does he feel the need to prove that he’s a monster.

But there’s more to him than meets the eye.
Affection is unfamiliar territory. He never really received much warmth, kindness, or love in his life, and as a result, he has little idea what to do when someone offers those things sincerely. He might struggle to trust, misunderstand gestures of affection, or instinctively push people away when they get too close.

That doesn’t mean he’s incapable of caring. He simply has a lot to learn about expressing it.
I’d love to explore how he develops through the story, whether he becomes a little softer, remains stubbornly difficult, or finds his own way of understanding love and companionship. He won’t suddenly become a completely different person overnight, and neither will his flaws disappear just because someone cares about him.

🌙 Your Character

Your character can be absolutely anything you want.

She could be a human, princess, knight, angel, elf, witch, another demon, a monster, a wandering adventurer, or something entirely different. She could be kind and gentle, proud and ambitious, mischievous, morally grey, or just as dangerous as he is.

She doesn’t have to be someone who immediately tries to fix him, either. I’d rather have two characters with their own personalities, goals, flaws, and lives, who gradually influence each other through their experiences.

Perhaps they start as enemies, reluctant allies, strangers travelling together, or two people who have no idea what to make of each other. Maybe they’re brought together by circumstance, an agreement, a shared enemy, or a problem neither can solve alone.

We can figure out the details together!

⚔️ The Story
I’d love a balance between action, adventure, character development, and quieter everyday moments.

We could explore ancient ruins, fight monsters, get caught up in conflicts between kingdoms, uncover secrets about demons and other supernatural beings, or find ourselves dealing with problems far more complicated than either character anticipated.

But I also want room for the smaller things: conversations by a campfire, nights spent in taverns, travelling through unfamiliar towns, teasing each other, celebrating festivals, or simply enjoying a rare moment of peace.

The story doesn’t need to follow a rigid plot. We can build the world together, introduce new ideas as we go, and let our characters’ decisions shape what happens next.

❤️ Romance & Something More
Romance is one of the things I’d really like to explore, especially with a character who doesn’t know how to handle it.

I love the idea of affection developing slowly, through shared experiences, growing trust, small gestures, arguments, unexpected moments of vulnerability, and all the awkwardness that comes with someone discovering feelings they’ve never really understood before.

He might not know how to respond to kindness. He might struggle to put his feelings into words or find himself caring far more than he ever intended. His way of showing affection might be subtle, clumsy, or completely different from what someone would expect.

Of course, your character should have her own boundaries and agency, and their relationship should develop naturally rather than being forced into a predetermined outcome.

And I don’t want the story to end when they get together.

I’d love to explore what happens afterward, too. Perhaps they eventually settle down, find a place to call home, start a family, or build a life neither of them imagined they would have. There could still be adventures, complications, disagreements, and new challenges along the way.

Maybe the demon who once cared about nothing beyond his own freedom eventually discovers that there are people he genuinely wants to protect and a home he actually wants to return to.

Or perhaps their life together looks nothing like a traditional happy ending. That’s something we can discover as we write.

I’m hoping to find someone interested in building a story together over time, rather than rushing through a predetermined series of events.
We can brainstorm character connections, discuss potential plot hooks, develop the setting, and surprise each other with new ideas. There’s no need to have everything figured out before we begin.
I’m happy to explore darker themes, moral conflicts, emotional character development, and complicated relationships, while still leaving plenty of room for humour, warmth, and lighter moments.

What do I have to offer you? Well I like to think I'm pretty creative, I like a bunch of weird stuff. I really enjoy building scenarios. I am pretty open as far as a lot of stuff goes, I can write in full paragraphs pretty easily, and I consider myself a pretty good writer.

But, the thing is, I am kind of looking for people who are able to talk about stories in emotionally interesting ways. Nothing annoys me more than when I am trying to build up a scene and my partner just immediately jumps to "cock gets hard".

I'd like to do an RP where we really get firm emotional profiles on both characters, build up long stories, etc. And of course, it doesn't have to be "both" character, I sort of prefer RPs where there are a bunch of tertiary characters joining in, too.

If you can't play that kind of stuff, I don't think it is going to work out very well. My second big request is that you are able to speak English fluently. I don't like being ghosted, but I think that goes without saying.

I like incest and femdom, as you can see. I like slowly breaking down my sub. I like physical domination, manhandling, athletic humiliation. I l LOVE subs who don't have to be super submissive all the time, breaking them down slowly and competing with them for dominance is always a ton od fun for me! I don't need all of that, but please tell me how much of that is a problem. if its none...then we probably have a good chance together.

I don't really like RPers who can only play variations of their real self. I like building characters with my partners, having "prefabbed" models to work with is kind of stifling for me. I don't really like scat or diapers. I don't like really like partners who have an approach of "anal is fine, but I don't get penetrated". I don't really like when my partner's idea of femdom beings and ends at pegging, or begins and ends with milking. If you want somebody to just give you demands.

For my primary idea (I am really feeling one right now):

I'd like a scenario where a young audlt still living with his mother has to deal with two major problems: She is vastly superior to him in all respects, and she loves him dearly. While she tries not to pick him up and paint his face with her lipstick too much, her ideas of protecting and disciplining her son often leave him feleing like he's never ever going to escape his mom's infantlizing grip. well, the big aspect here is you are a son who has been constantly frustrated by how much your mom is better than you, at everything every single thing you've ever taken interest in, she has surpassed you by leaps and bounds, has beaten you every single time you've played a game together, etc.I don't want her to be like, a total bitch, maybe more she doesn't like being dishonest and doesn't think she should hodl herself back een if it may make you upset. and maybe the coupple times she did lose on purpose you saw right through it and got even more dejected? you cool if the rivalry is kind of one way, you have a deep need to beat me at soemthing but I am fine either way? I like the idea that I never trash talk and always congratulate you for trying and that kind of makes it worse.

This one would require some writing and be highly unconventional but I'd really like to try it!

I'd be interested if, perhaps, she's a bit of a tyrant as far as moralizing with rules? Like she has some insistent "no drinking" or "keep up hygine" or "no misogynistic jokes" rules. But BECAUSE she is so superior she can always figure out when you know you broke a rule, and can always discern what really hapenned no matter how hard you lie?

Could have some fun with her absolutely disporportionately punishing him any time he cheated at a game, gave up on soemthing, had an offensive opinion, or bought something from a company with immoral practices. Like she's the ultimate morality police on him and will not give hima single inch. Maybe she's jsut as strict about his health and hygiene, too?

If you want her to be cruel/always punishing I'd like that as the basic "mechanism" for that - her having too many rules to keep you morally upright and healthy. But we can kind of minimize that if you want to try playing with her as a nice lady.

I think either way could be fun!

Hi everyone! Me and a few of my friends are looking to find people who are invested in doing Worldbuilding for a Medieval fantasy world on discord.

Its centered around the plot of a Tyrannical Warlord who wants to rid the world of magic for good due to a traumatic event of losing his family and Kingdom in his past from a magical conflict and sense then blames magic for every negative impact on the world. He's rallied many others to his cause. His advantage is using an ore called Achilieum ore where if in the vicinity of it, it weakens the magic they have. Any physical touch from it, breaks your connection to your magic. There is a way to restore it which is through Xalaxian ore but most believe it to be a myth and Legend and that it doesn't exist even though it does. The Nations of the world are forced to fight against this threat and it threatens the balance of the world and could bring about a mass culling of all manners of magic. Individuals, creatures of magic, people who side with magical individuals, Nations, Kingdoms and many more.

My Writing Style:

I write in novella/semi-novella style in the third person past tense. The length of my writing can depend on what my partner gives me back. I don’t like to write massive posts because I think that a good back-and-forth with roleplaying is needed. Generally speaking, you’ll get anywhere between two hundred to four hundred words from me.  Unless I’m setting up something or writing out an action scene. That being said, I like details a lot. I like to paint a picture and “set the scene” so to speak.

Please bear in mind, I also am a NSFW writer. All of my stories feature adult content. I don’t do fade to black and have no desire to do so. All posts should be marked accordingly but just to make sure there’s no confusion that’s a significant part of what I’m looking for. If we’re talking ratio, I tend to go fifty fifty. But again, my version of fifty fifty is not a smut heavy thing. It’s just that I don’t shy away from those scenes and want our characters romance to shine through. 

What I Need From A Partner:

Third-person past tense is a MUST with me. I’m also looking for writers who write more than one sentence. If you can match me great! If not, then at least be willing to provide details and “set the scene” with me.

Also, I’m terrible at doing RP on Reddit. It's just not something I check besides checking on my requests. So while I can be convinced for the right partner, I vastly prefer Discord or Google Docs. 

Availability:

My availability is all over the place right now. I have a full-time job and a side hustle. So, sometimes, I can reply multiple times a week, and sometimes, I can only reply once a week. It really depends on how my schedule shakes out. If you’re the type of person who needs replies everyday I’m not your partner. However, if you can be patient with me, I promise to be patient with you and bring my A-Game when I do reply. 

Also I cannot stress the patient side of things enough! I’ve got some medical stuff going on and my work is super stressful. Sometimes it takes me a while to get back. It’s nothing against you! And I promise I’m not ghosting you. Rest assured unless I tell you otherwise I am still very into our idea and still want to do it! The muse has just tanked.

Today, I’d like to boldly go! That’s right, I’m interested in some Star Trek-related plots. I’ve got a few you can find below. I’ve got a few options for various timelines and different era’s of Star Trek to explore.

Idea 1.  This one takes place during the Star Trek Online universe. An era when Starfleet became increasingly militarized. MC would be a captain and against that. He insists on keeping to Starfleet's original intent. He decided to take the best and brightest from Starfleet's graduating class aboard a brand-spanking-new starship to complete that mission.

Enter YC.  Top of her class with brains and beauty. She’s chosen as MC's first officer. The two of them have chemistry that can’t be denied. Space is lonely and the two of them quickly arrange an agreement.

What happens behind closed doors between a Captain and First Officer needs no saying.

Idea 2. Similar(ish), I’d love to do something based in Starfleet Academy. Maybe even featuring multiple characters? We can do any sort of pairing. Two Roomates, Classroom rivals turned lovers, something more taboo. Skies the limit!

Idea 3. Your more classic Star Trek flair! A ship, a crew, a journey! Space is the final frontier and there’s plenty of opportunity for shenanigans to happen! Are we crew? Officers? And there are plenty of species to go about as well!

Having lived down the road from your best friend all your life, you always found that it was her father who came to mind whenever other girls started talking about their crushes. Even as you got older and those conversations shifted from how cute a boy was to how good one might be in bed, your thoughts always seemed to return to your best friend's father and no one else. It was embarrassing, and it made those conversations with your best friend particularly awkward whenever you had to lie about who you were interested in, but surely it was something you'd eventually grow out of... right?

Approaching your twenty-first birthday without having done much more than hold hands with another man, that couldn't be any further from the truth. Now, with you and your best friend returning home for a college break, you're once again living only a short distance away from the man you've spent years trying not to think about, and old feelings are beginning to become much harder to dismiss.

Howdy all of you who have taken the time to read through the short premise of this story of mine. I'm not looking for a story about a woman who knows exactly what she wants and confidently goes after it, but instead one about a woman who does indeed knows what she wants, but approaches it with the awkward shame of someone who knows she shouldn't. It's something I want to focus on the emotions and complications this journey entails rather than just the activities carried out in the bedroom... or elsewhere. How will your character handle being around the man who has kept her from finding anything with those her age, especially as he starts to fail to enforce the boundaries she might expect him to, and what will she do when others start to take notice of her desires?

While I prefer writing in first person due to the number of other characters that can be involved, I'm perfectly fine with third person if that is what you're more comfortable with. My main preference for RPing is Discord, though if you are against it, I'll be happy to hear any suggestions that may be more suitable than Reddit's buggy chat. Writing-wise, while I am looking for someone who can craft two or more paragraphs more often than not, I am not looking for a truly novella-length writer. The setting is vague; we can plot and scheme together.

I had this ideal of a dark romance where two characters meet during a masquerade and fall for one another during the evening.

Now, hear me out. I do NOT wish for an extremely toxic relationship. However, I do like the idea of both characters being equally enamored with one another, to the point of it being (a bit) obsessive. Thus, morally grey characters or even villains are very welcome for this idea.

I seek tension, of course, but I prefer the troubles to come from outside the relationship, rather than from inside.

Perhaps they are not meant to be together, or maybe someone fears what they could do together - whatever it may be, I want our characters to defeat the odds together at the end.

Still, I am open to some rather dark themes and questionable decisions from our characters, as long as we keep cheating off the table. I can excuse murder; I draw the line at any form of cheating.

If this is set in a low or high fantasy setting, or perhaps even something more realistic, I am adaptable either way. Let us create this world and setting together!

Crimson red curtains draped over the windows reflected the candlelight. Small flames flickered in the golden candelabras. Perfume and incense alike curled through this massive hall. Everything held a meaning here, no matter if it was about how the people moved their hands. Or how they held their champagne glasses. Even the colors they wore, the shape of their masks, it all held a meaning. But that meaning only made sense to those who paid close attention, who knew things others did not.

There were masks made out of porcelain. Others were gilded and extravagant enough to make even high society look at them with surprise. Meanwhile,, some people decided to conceal their entire face just to be sure. Feathers stuck from some, colorful and in various sizes. The affluent did not shy away from adding small pearls and other gemstones to their masks. It was more than a status symbol.

Silk brushed against velvet. Skirts reached the ground easily. Cloaks were nearly as long, brushing against the polished marble floor. Nothing seemed real here; no one seemed themselves. Particularly not those who engaged in conversation, giggling and snickering about things that seemed to drip with venom, even when the words themselves should be seen as something pleasant. Everything was a weapon here. Even how the ladies held their fans was a signal one needed to know how to read.

Dark roses were littering the space, even curling up the dark staircase on the side. Behind it was a path leading into the shadowed secret of this place. Secrets were everywhere.

Names were irrelevant, but their reputation was not. It was a delicate balance between not knowing who was in front of you and having to suspect the correct one to make the right decision.

In the middle of the room, people danced like in a dream. The music was slow, almost intoxicating. People guided their partners through elegant spins. Not a single bare hand touched anyone tonight, for everyone wore gloves. Some moved perfectly synchronized with the waltz while others leaned in close to whisper secret words.

In a corner stood a short, stout woman. Her gown was the color of the midnight sky, scattered with tiny silver stars. It reflected the light with every movement. The bodice was a shade darker than the skirt, with a sweetheart neckline, showing off the various moles that littered her neck. Several layers served to make the skirt appear impressive.

A silver mask hid her face, shaped with crescent-like curves and adorned with a few light blue feathers. Her natural curly auburn hair had been pinned up with a few star-shaped pins. A silver necklace rested on her chest, and a simple bracelet slid down her white glove every now and then. In one hand, she held a fan that looked just like her gown, fanning her face a little; she sighed deeply after a while. With no one having approached her just yet, she closed the fan slowly, indicating that she was growing bored of this lonely situation.

The lady she had talked with a few moments ago had been stolen away for a dance some time ago, leaving her waiting impatiently for someone to make the first move. After all, it would be most unseemly for a lady to approach someone first.

Now that I’m no longer overwhelmed with work - I'm on the hunt for a reliable and chatty RP partner or two who would be interested in writing with me. Some things about me, I have been role playing for about 15 years now, I’m 30+ and I will only RP with someone who is 18+ I’m on the EST timezone, and I do work full time so I’m not always able to reply to the RP right away and some days I may be too tired to muster a reply, but I love small talk.

The Shtick;

► This will be a 3rd person RP only, in a chat where we can share ideas, pictures, face references, character sheets and brainstorm things neatly! I prefer to use art references, so come prepared! (Or I can help) I don’t care if you use AI image references - I’m pretty sure some of mine are generated, I have no clue if they were or not.

► My characters are tall, masc doms and I only wish to pair them up with femboys, trans boys, or fem twinks. We can discuss more elsewhere.

► There will be romance and beyond in this roleplay, but I prefer it to make sense within the story instead of it being the focus.

► I consider myself lit/advanced, if you can only offer a few lines of RP, then we won’t vibe well. I need at least two paragraphs for me to sink my teeth into and really get some nice writing in. I’d like frequent replies, a few a day maybe. I know we all have bad days, I have them myself, but I’ll be sure to let you know if I’m unable to muster up the spoons to get a reply out.

► I like to consider myself a friendly and funny guy, so by all means let’s chat it up, goof around, send memes and gifs and gush about our characters and plot up a storm for this RP.

► If I feel like I’m the only one contributing to the story direction of the RP and the only one pulling it forward, then I’ll lose interest quickly - so please do not just be dead weight and be dragged along for the ride. The easiest way to make you my favorite is to push the plot forward and brainstorm just as much if not more than me.

The Genres/Settings;

I’m a big fan of anything where our characters are in survival mode and on the run, where the story has them at odds against their environment in order for them to make it through. Chaos is unfolding and they only have one another in this hectic world for the other to hold onto, even if at first their relationship is tumultuous at best.

Hello everyone! First of all, I want to give a small warning. I typically write DD:DNE plots, so essentially, if you don’t like the dead dove, don’t eat it.
What exactly is the dead dove? You may ask. Well, I prefer to write abusive/problematic dynamics, angsty plots, mental health issues/religious psychosis and explorations of bad pasts/childhoods and how they affect adult characters during the storyline. My hard limit is minor characters (17 and under), as I also write smut. 

With that out of the way, let me introduce myself. I’m Hannah, I go by she/it, I’m a 20 year old woman, and I’m from Ireland. I’m an advanced literate writer that’s been writing for about 8 years, and I typically write FxF and in 3rd person only. Being from Ireland, my timezone is GMT+1, but I’m a night owl so I can work around pretty much any timezone to respond at least twice a day.

Before I say what I am looking for, I should preface that the character I am looking to write is technically a canon character from the game The Outlast Trials, named Liliya Bogomolova- but you do not have to know anything about her or the outlast trials to roleplay with me, as I have a full bio for her written out that has all you would need to know.

But the one thing you should definitely know before dming me in case it's not your cup of tea is that she is a very religious over zealous Russian cult leader that fought in ww2 as a teen, so if that is not something you would enjoy, no worries!

Your irl gender doesn’t mean anything to me, but I am pretty strict about it being a 60’s setting for Liliya’s storyline to make any sense, so I do need someone aware of the nuances of how the attitudes of the time towards women and queer people would affect the story! Either way, no matter your irl gender, I request that when you send me a writing sample, it is a sample of you writing a woman, so I know that you can in the first place!

I’m not too strict about length. Quality over quantity for sure, but I won't be responding well to a low effort single paragraph or anything, so let’s keep good and frequent ooc communication going so we can make sure we're both getting enough from one another to keep the story fulfilling for both of us! Smut wise, I prefer to have chemistry going and for it to make sense story wise, so smut to story ratio can really be anything depending on how well our characters mesh. 

Plot wise, I don’t have any dead set requirements beyond a 1960’s setting, and it doesn’t have to be OVERLY accurate to the time either, given that the character I would like to use is implied to be sort of supernatural. She is also very versatile, and I can place her anywhere in any scenario, as her being ‘lead by God’ is the explanation for her presence pretty much anywhere. We can do something more tropey like cult leader x follower, patient x staff or patient x patient in an asylum, or whatever, or we can come up with something a bit more personalised! I love forced proximity, toxic yuri (of course), the whole lot, so I’ll be happy to brainstorm with you!

Billy had seen way too much in his short time on this earth, enough to have potentially broken his spirit long before he'd even turned 18. Traumatic memories of abuse, death, and everything in between had practically rendered the 21 year-old a depressive husk.

In his darkest moments, he was an island and learned early on in life to never rely on anyone but himself. This even extended to physical touch; in Billy's experience, touch was associated with fear and pain. At the same time though, it was exhausting having to withdraw into himself so frequently, hugging his body like a child as if to shield himself from the world, from people who had harmed him in the past. And on the semi-frequent occasion Billy DID allow anyone to lay their hands on him, he'd flinch. He flinched over a lot of things, in fact. Loud noises, sudden touches.....

However, after a particularly rough day, it was unanimously agreed upon that he would come to live with his gorgeous older friend, Jessica. She'd helped Billy through so much, giving him a shoulder to cry on and a place to stay whenever he needed it. It was just her too, so there wouldn't be any sort of pressure on his end to "perform" or "mask" for anyone, and he could begin to find himself, possibly even appreciate life a bit more with her help. Billy felt safe around her in a way he hadn't felt around anybody else, to the point where he'd actively seek her out just to be around her, to take in her presence. Quite frankly, she saved him.

Billy had also...fantasized about her quite a bit, yearning for the day he'd get to see her body in its purest form. He couldn't help himself when she was so beautiful! But alas, their relationship was closer to a mother and her son than a pair of lovers, so those urges would have to be pushed aside. She was at least twice his age, for crying out loud; no younger than 40. However, he was more than happy to make do with physical closeness and general platonic/maternal affection, unless there was a way for their relationship to progress further.....

Hi! I have an idea for a gentle, wholesome love story centered around a traumatized younger man and a much older woman whom he looks up to as a mother figure. There's just something about blurring the lines between a motherly figure, a friend, and a girlfriend/wife/lover that I'd really love to explore. Her name and appearance is something we can decide on together, "Jessica" was just a placeholder name for the time being, and we can discuss my own character's name as well.

I'd love for this to mainly be a slice of life roleplay chock-full of heart to heart talks, cooking together, and some nice relaxing weekends just to name a few. We could also include deeper snippets of their day-to-day lives in it i.e. doctor's appointments, therapy appointments (for him), clothes shopping, and everything in between. Holiday gatherings could provide some especially interesting scenes as well as some always-necessary coziness. As for the smut, I'd like for this to be 50% story, 50% smut, or possibly 60% story, 40% smut?

In my head he's around 19-22 and she's 39-50; I feel the age gap is a VERY essential detail in regards to their dynamic, how she treats him, and how she approaches him. I also have backstories in mind for both of our characters, but ideally his backstory is quite dark as a contrast to hers, if that's alright with you.

As evident from this pitch/sample, he's essentially someone who comes from a deeply traumatic background, whatever that might entail whether that means an abusive father, that he was orphaned early on, etc.; it's left him with quite a bit of baggage, and I'd love to explore what that dichotomy with someone with a "normal" background might look like, and how they can help him heal together.

I. WHAT TO EXPECT FROM ME

Before we get carried away planning our fictional wonderland, here's a little about my writing style and what I hope to find in a partner.

I write exclusively in the third-person, past tense, and I'd describe my style as advanced literate. My replies can range from a few substantial paragraphs to well beyond Discord's character limit, depending on the scene. I'm not particularly concerned with matching an exact word count. I'd much rather write an engaging response that gives us something to work with than pad a reply for the sake of length.

You don't have to write exactly like I do. Different styles can complement each other beautifully, and I'm far more interested in finding someone whose enthusiasm matches mine than someone who writes exactly like I do.

Communication is important to me, too. If you're busy, need a break, want to change direction, or have an idea you'd like to explore, please tell me. Real life comes first, and I'd much rather have an honest conversation than feel as though either of us has to maintain an unrealistic schedule.

Ultimately, I'm hoping to find a long-term writing partnership that we're eager to return to because we're genuinely excited to see what happens next.

II. THE STORIES I WANT TO TELL

This is where things get exciting!

My biggest craving is for Christmas-themed slice-of-life romance, with the holiday woven into the characters' lives rather than simply serving as a pretty backdrop.

I want the first snowfall, twinkling lights along Main Street, bustling Christmas markets, last-minute shopping, and the traditions that make the season feel special. I want a fictional town that feels lived-in, with familiar faces, community events, and perhaps a few overly enthusiastic residents who take holiday decorating far too seriously.

Most importantly, I want our characters to have reasons to keep crossing paths. Shared responsibilities, mutual friends, overlapping routines, or a family connection that makes avoiding each other practically impossible.

I'm particularly fond of slow burns, second chances, unexpected connections, a little angst, and the wonderful clichés that make romantic comedies so much fun. I want our characters to have lives, relationships, and personal struggles beyond their romance, with plenty of opportunities for personal growth and the occasional emotional gut punch.

I'm open to all sorts of pairings and dynamics, and I'm more than happy to brainstorm something completely different if inspiration strikes.

III. PLOT BUNNIES

The following ideas are starting points rather than rigid plots. We can change the characters, combine tropes, switch up the dynamics, or use them as inspiration for something entirely our own.

1. A Stranger Under the Christmas Lights

A chance encounter brings two strangers together in a picturesque little town during the Christmas season. Perhaps one is a newcomer finding their feet in an unfamiliar place, while the other is a longtime local who knows all the best spots in town. Between visits to the local coffee shop, holiday errands, and helping organize the annual Christmas festival, the two gradually become part of each other's seasonal routines.

2. Home for the Holidays

Once inseparable, two childhood friends drifted apart as life took them in different directions. Years later, they find themselves back in their hometown for Christmas, surrounded by familiar faces, cherished traditions, and memories of days gone by. Perhaps one has returned to help with the family business while the other is considering a fresh start somewhere new. As they revisit old haunts and rediscover forgotten traditions, they begin to wonder how much has changed and what might still be waiting for them.

3. A Familiar Face

Having grown up around the same family gatherings and holiday traditions, two people have known each other for years through a mutual friend. Their paths rarely crossed beyond the occasional celebration, but this Christmas brings new opportunities to spend time together. Between shared errands, family preparations, and helping with a local event, they discover sides of each other they never noticed before.

4. A Little Christmas Cheer

A busy single parent is doing their best to balance work, family life, and making the holidays memorable for their child. When a new caregiver or family friend enters the picture, everyday routines begin to look a little different. From school activities and festive baking to decorating the house and preparing for Christmas morning, the newcomer gradually becomes a welcome presence in their lives.

5. A Letter Before Christmas

A misplaced Christmas card, a letter delivered to the wrong address, or a local holiday pen-pal tradition connects two people who might never otherwise have met. Their correspondence begins with simple seasonal greetings and gradually develops into conversations about everyday life, favorite traditions, and hopes for the coming year. Meanwhile, their paths cross in the real world without either realizing who is on the other end of the letters.

Of course, these are only a handful of possibilities!

I'm equally happy to explore other familiar tropes, put a fresh spin on an old favorite, or start from scratch with nothing more than two characters and an intriguing premise.

IV. THE POSSIBILITIES DON'T END THERE

Although Christmas romance is my primary craving, I'm not opposed to exploring other seasons, settings, or genres if the right idea comes along. A cozy autumn romance, a summer spent in a seaside town, a small-town love story built around a local festival, or a tale about two people rebuilding their lives after an unexpected change could all be wonderful.

The Hallmark aesthetic is an invitation, not a rulebook.

I'm not looking for someone who simply agrees with everything I suggest. I want a partner who brings their own imagination, enthusiasm, and perspective to the table; someone who gets excited about their character, has ideas to contribute, and wants to see the story grow into something neither of us could have created alone.

V. A FEW FINAL THINGS

I‘ve been out of written RP for a while and am now trying to get back into it. I hope you can help me with that! I don’t want to feel pressured to write the next shakespeare novel when writing and just have fun. Also i value OOC Conversations a lot!

I usually write a Paragraph per Message on average, depending on the Material given and the situation at hand (The amount you write = the amount i write.) Simple conversation does not have to be overly complicated. Please dont try to have twenty different conversations at the same time causing responses to be three paragraphs. Conversations don‘t work like that.

English is not my native language so do forgive some Grammatical mistakes here and there, i usually try my best to avoid making mistakes though.

The Settings i usually like to do:

1. Superheroes/Villains (Maybe something like a Hero academy)

2. Apocalyptic (Zombie Apocalypse or Fallout-esque)

3. Sci-fi (like Starwars or similar themes)

4. Romance Slice of Life

5. Fantasy / High Fantasy

6. Military Stuff

(I only play as OCs! Please don‘t try and play as Darth Vader or something. I also try to avoid Fandom RPs as much as possible. I have no problem with coming up with new OCs together if the ones i already have don’t work for you.)

I usually have all my RPs have a Romance plot since thats the easiest and most engaging for a 1x1.

I really love Worldbuilding to make the RP feel actually alive, so i really appreciate it if we have detailed locations.

Hello. My name is Oblivion or you can just call me Brandon. Im 24 and I watch/read a lot of anime and manga (my favorites being Jujutsu Kaisen and Berserk). I also play a lot of video games (my favorite game of all time is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim). Im usually pretty chill but I will admit that I can get annoyed pretty easy but it takes A LOT to make me actually upset.

A fair warning to all my potential partners, I get attached very easily and im pretty weird once I get comfortable. I understand if thats a turn away. Im actually impossible to make uncomfortable so you can be as weird or unhinged as you want with me. I encourage it. I have a pretty strange and dark sense of humor. I love making friends with and getting to know my partners and having conversations. I LOVE world building and id like that my partner does aswell.

As for my roleplay information. I LOVE dark and disturbing themes/topics so i like when my partners do aswell. I have absolutely no limits or triggers so id like if my partners dont either. I like to introduce and control NPCs so please do the same, even if i introduced them.

Im very detailed as im adv.lit - novella so please be the same. Please dont ignore anything in my posts, acknowledge everything and I'll do the same for you. Please 18+. You dont have to ask to do anything to or with my character, just let me know what you're doing beforehand. I tend to use images and gifs to help explain something better.

As odd as it sounds, I only do 1x1s with women. Doing a 1x1 with another guy feels awkward. My preferred genres are action, adventure, fantasy and supernatural. Im okay with romance if our characters have children. I like when the roleplay focuses on the next generation. I also like pur characters starting as children, like 13, 14 cause it adds more time and potential for growth in my opinion. I dont really use proper plots. I like to world build, establish the villain(s) and go with the flow. Open world roleplay as I call it. Arcs, plots, etc can be made based off the actions of our characters.
