Had the opportunity to try out Riftbound for the first time at my local prerift event, it was insanely fun. My prerelease kit gave me ksante for my deck.

Coming from magic the interactions felt pretty complicated but rewarding when you get to conquer.

Unfortunately, I did end up going 0-3 (as expected) but I definitely learnt a lot in the 3 rounds I played.

But anyway for the real purpose of this post, in the 3 participation boosters everyone got I managed to pull the Amphitheater!

I’m currently based in Melbourne, Victoria and was wondering what’s the expected value for this card and the best way I can go about selling this?

So this was just revealed today, KDA x LV collab. And this Art of Evelyn is so good. I was just wondering what’s the thought process of Riot’s Riftbound team making a battlefield that looks like a promo card as an ultimate this season? When they can clearly come up with much greater options such as Evelyn KDA x LV card. Imagine that art on a foiled card, collectors would go crazy.

Keeping it simple and giving out my quick tip for Morde at pre rift. Went undefeated tonight, honestly was expecting it to be good but sheeesh was I ultra impressed (firm believer red/fury thrives in sealed events due to its pressure).

To anyone who gets lucky these 3 cards in one turn is insane but even without the assault gear the card draw is very nice. And to those that are confused in pre rift you can play 3 colors as long as two match your legends domain so pulling in blue for draw and stuff easily made some cool tricks.

I think the change was good because this should be the pinnacle of Riftbound competition it just got announced too late.

My only real concern, and the reason i'm trying to predict the meta, is the viewer experience:

• With everyone on the best decks there will be a lot less variety, so we'll see the same matchups over and over
• IF (just an IF) Kennen really ends up above 30%, we'll also see a lot of mirrors

Not a reason to not do what they did of course but I think I will enjoy less as a viewer

What do you think the field will look like?

I wanted to play leesin in stuttgart. Played 200+ games on him and trained with my group. Now its away. I think its a more fair system now but it is just not enaugh time to switch. This change kills all my hopes and i would still play it if there would be at least a normal foiled metal...not even that. I'm incredible frustrated right now.

Today I played NN and we played mirror Rek’Sai match. I held the upper hand and was ahead in tempo (6 to 4 points or so). My base was stacked with 7 different units (including bigger ones like empowered Escaped Greyback).

Opponent had around 9 runes and on his turn he played a two drop (Soaring Scout) to the base, then he played Nexus Hopeful to the base. He immediately reverted Noxus Hopeful right after and I obviously allowed him to do that since board state hasn’t changed and he’s got no extra information. The battlefields were empty (I pulled all units back to double conquer with Undertitan buff and Cleave + Blood Rush next turn).

My opponent went to conquer one battlefield with his recruit token and played Rek’Sai ability to reveal two cards and play one. It resolved, he decided to play none and recycled both cards from top deck. After that he asked me if he can revert the soaring scout play and I denied. He was visibly upset saying that this is just a Nexus Night. For me though it was kind of obvious he got too much extra information to really let him revert the board state that way.

Was I right or wrong to actually deny? After the game I’ve felt uncomfortable because my opponent was visibly upset because of my denial.

Anyone else get a last second refund with no explanation?

This is pretty interesting, and I'm glad they're looking at ways to even out the win percentage between going first and second.

I think in other games this could be a little extreme but RB is so tempo oriented going first is still probably better for most decks.

I put together the 18 most expensive Signature cards across all four sets so far.

A few things that stood out to me:

• The top 4 are all above $3,000
• After that there’s a huge drop, since #5 is already around $1,570.
• Vendetta is the newest set and already has 5 cards in the top 14 (Akali, Zed, Jayce, Kennen, Mel).
• Origins still holds 7 of the 18 spots.

Context is I've been seeing a lot of people posting/selling their hits from pre-rift kits days before the first pre-rift event starts. I was wondering if these are actually for sale or are they specifically made for tge event.

It seems like Red’s part of the colour pie is assault and direct damage to battlefields, but with all the movement mechanics and counters in green and purple, and direct removal that can target outside of battlefield in yellow and orange- Red is doesn’t have enough answers.

I think it’s telling that practically the only cards used in red are falling star, ferrous forerunner, and kaisa. Even assault buffs can’t beat Cleave.

What do you all think red needs to be effective without making any overstated or overpowered cards? Perhaps the tapping and untapping should have been red

Have an account issue at the LGS for which I work and I haven't had a response from the LGS team email at UVS for several weeks now. Is there any other way of reaching them other than the LGS email or the contact form on their website? I have tried both.
