Fun fact: internally the trundlorbs are called "sad_groove_thing". Something tells me they were added before the release of Groove...
It's a Scratch project called Super Rhythm World 6, though the sounds effects were custom programmed for this video to make it funnier.

I would've probably gotten pity points if I had scored any lower but still...

(If you didn't know, Sachiko is the chef's name is Slice N Dice Kitchen 1 and 2)
Well, those are some *familiar* cues!
(Sorry, for the audio being ahem- *crispy* in the first half)

It's an extremely straightforward call-and-response game. Don't get me wrong, it's really tricky, mostly because the cues are pretty long, but I see people calling this game "jank" and I quite literally have no idea what they mean. This is Rhythm Heaven DS, the game with flick controls, the game with Rockers 2, and we're singling out Moai Doo-Wop?!
I blame y'all for Synchro Wings being boring as hell (by Rhythm Heaven standards)

It's very possible I'm the only one to ever have this confusion, and I know this wasnt ever the case...
But I swear I remember Fever Remix 5 having the flipper flop guy dressed as a caveman.

I don't know if I'm the only one who feels this way, but around Remix 10, I just got too tired of the tutorials and started skipping them and guessing during the game what I needed to do. Most of the time, it only took me the first inputs of the game to realize which button I needed to press, or course it helps than most of the minigames at that point are second version of others minigames.
Only once or twice I lost and needed to play the minigame again, but even losing, I felt like the minigame itself was a better tutorial than doing the actual tutorial.

So I’ve been playing RHG on and off for the past couple of months, and I finally got through remix 20 and I was just kinda thinking it felt lackluster. Like back in Fever, Ds, or GBA, Even Megamix, the penultimate remix always had some cinematic appeal, with a grandiose feel and sound. I should note , they’re usually uptempo. But This one? I don’t know, after getting through it, I just felt disappointed.
For me, The challenge was memorizing the controls, not keeping up with the changes, and that sentiment kinda carries through the whole game for me. Simple rhythms, Varying controls.
Yes my first game was fever, but even looking back at the other games still shows the simplicity in the controls applying to rather difficult rhythms or concepts the average person could find a challenge.(I speak in 3rd person since I’m a percussionist, rhythm is kinda my thing :P).
Yes, monkey watch is programmed weirdly, Yes, the improper Explanation or demonstration of swing in Love Rap is exactly why people struggle with it, Yes The Threefish Definition in Catch of the day is explained horribly, it’s the “and” of 3, not on 3 itself.(I say this to say that even Fever is flawed, and I don’t think it’s a perfect game)
I know many people like Groove, but I feel the implementation of all 4 of the D-Pad buttons kinda ruins the simplicity that rhythm heaven had for so long. (To be fair GBA had toss boys, but I never liked that one in the first place, and I never had the proper chance to play DS on official hardware, but even then the concept was simple, only a select ONE minigame (that being rock star 2)changed the control scheme)
I don’t know if I’m the only one with this sentiment, but I’d like to know everyone’s thoughts on the state of Groove as a whole compared to The other games.

like lockstep lockdown, I always thought these would be a better perfect challenge than night mode

The answer to the previous riddle was that all four levels use the same font for their prologue cards.
