Discussions What type of vehicle do you prefer working out of?
I have two jobs, farming and refrigeration. My work with refrigeration involves a lot of over the road work, so I would rather have a crew or extended cab than a single, but I still need an 8 foot bed and a heavy rear axle, which is how I ended up on 4, which is my actual work truck. I tried a van for about 6 months. That is for the birds, I hated it. Loud, hot, and cramped.
When I am doing farm work, I might have 5-10 laborers with me, so I need the van.
There are definitely some jobs where a short bed works the best, forest fire fighting is the one that comes to mind off the top of my head.

I always get a chuckle when the Header image for car models wiki page has visible damage or rust
I appreciate that they are usually action shots just taken on the street, it definitely feels like more of a real example instead of some prepared marketing image with perfect lighting.
