Discussions What type of vehicle do you prefer working out of?
I have two jobs, farming and refrigeration. My work with refrigeration involves a lot of over the road work, so I would rather have a crew or extended cab than a single, but I still need an 8 foot bed and a heavy rear axle, which is how I ended up on 4, which is my actual work truck. I tried a van for about 6 months. That is for the birds, I hated it. Loud, hot, and cramped.
When I am doing farm work, I might have 5-10 laborers with me, so I need the van.
There are definitely some jobs where a short bed works the best, forest fire fighting is the one that comes to mind off the top of my head.

...Sarcasm? I made a driving game where the hero cars are boxy daily drivers with the cornering grip of a shopping cart
Every racing game wants you to drive a Lamborghini that sticks to the road like itâs on rails. I wanted the opposite. I wanted body roll you can measure with a protractor. I wanted a police car so underpowered it has to take the chase personally. I wanted the thrill of nailing a corner in a loaded 600cc truck that was never meant to go that fast.
So Iâve been building an arcade driving game set in 1990s China, full of the boxy everyday workhorses nobody puts in games: delivery vans, boxy sedan taxis, city buses, the occasional very optimistic cop car. No grip. No downforce. No dignity. Every corner is a gamble with physics you will probably lose. The whole skill ceiling is driving a shitbox excellently.
It handles exactly as mid as youâre imagining, and thatâs the entire point. RCR taught me to love these cars. Figured this was the one crowd that would actually get it.
