The request has already been approved, but this is the reply I had prepared.

The subreddit's creator and sole moderator has been inactive across Reddit for nearly two years (last visible activity December 2024). The subreddit is functionally unmoderated beyond basic AutoModerator automation, resulting in an influx of abusive content going unaddressed.

I sent a modmail message on October 8 to express interest in joining the mod team and addressing unmoderated content. I also sent a follow-up message after the required 5 days, and have received no reply.

I have lots of experience moderating on Reddit, extensive involvement in the flashlight community, and own and use FireflyLite products on a daily basis. As a moderator, I would implement clear subreddit rules, actively enforce Reddit's sitewide content policy, and clean up abusive content to create a welcoming enthusiast space. I have multiple moderators with similar experience lined up to assist me with this.
