i previously loved playing around with this skill because it made chill application early game a breeze and keeps your chill modifier damage up. honestly felt it was kinda secret OP. with defense cancel nerfs, and increased reliance on special, this has become much harder to manage early game.

keeping this in mind and the DOT damage addition, the skill is a beast early game. you can skate through an entire poi, chill all the enemies, pop trait, enemies refreeze, and auto them to death while the DOT ticks away. clean up with power/special.

this makes her early game clear even better than before and gives her SO much free level 1-3 damage.

it synergies with SO many of her skills in unexpected ways. you can pop 2 traits and everything is still frozen at the end. you can pop trait then remediated go into special and not have to worry about reapplying freeze.

definitely give it a try if you’ve slept on it in the past!

Since Kintaro update Switch 2 performance is unplayable. Extremely blurry with Black lines all over screen. Any update on when we can expect a fix?

Hello friends! I'm a fairly new player around 10 hours and I've been trying to unlock scarlet signature outfit. I finished a Twilight run with 150 stacks but it didn't unlock. One quick look at the wiki shows the Devourer talent used to be a Completion quest at 40 not Repeatable.

I'm assuming since it can't be "completed" anymore there is no chance to unlock the skin.

Any insight from the Devs or a way to let them know would be appreciated.

Just wanted to thank the devs for making Kintaro because WOW… Usually I’m more of a ranged person, and prefer characters like Melusine or Piper, but Kintaro rly changed the game for me as far as Melee heroes go! I only learnt how op the new dragon skin is cause of him, since I don’t tend to focus on armour much for my ranged.

I hope he sticks around in public matches, cause I feel like I rarely ever see a Merlin or Romeo in the wild nowadays (only Juliet’s for obvious reasons 💔)

I have been trying to do some solo runs and I don't know if it's just bad RNG or what, but even on Twilight, the enemy density is actually unbearable at times, especially on the pig quests. Is anyone noticing this or am is it just bad RNG/skill issue stuff?

Not tagging it as a bug since I'm not sure it is one, but recently did a few runs with my friends wkth the new Hero in the party, and noticed none of the heroes talked to each other? I know Romeo and Juliet only talk to Merlin, but these were normal non-dlc characters with the new one, Mesuline and Wukong I know dont shut up, and they never once shouted "leave Aladdin alone!" At each other.

Anyone else notice this? Is this a bug or a change to the game? Or am I just crazy and remember there being music when there wasn't.

I don't know if they are aware of this bug already and/or if a lot of people are dying to it, but when I'm not riding Kuma and I use Kintaro's special, I don't get the i-frames. It is pretty annoying and makes finishing a nightmare run very difficult (on top of the character already being pretty difficult to learn ^^).

-> Not sure, but: if there are a lot of attacks around you, pressing Special with this bug basically makes you take 2x damage (you + Kuma), which results in a death.

Also to be clear, I do get the "intangible" tag when I use the special on foot, but it doesn't really work.
Hope it gets fixed soon...

Can we talk about this folks? Zero mention of it in the official design notes, but seems to be a fairly brutal blow to the character - both indirectly, in its general capacity to support a number of builds - and also obviously to the quite unique Pirouette based build. Seems a shame to nerf this so hard… did it really need this done to it???

Can anyone confirm whether the 5sec minimum cd now is a hard floor? Or whether Raven’s Skulls can still decrease the cd? I suspect it’s the latter but don’t have the game in front of me to check.

I experienced a funny bug trying out Kintaro for the first time.

I had a curse on my special and when I got to master nightmare number 1 at some point the bear completely vanished. I checked the whole arena and all of my (nonspecial) buttons, and nothing lol. He was gone for almost a minute, final tried special when it came of curse and boom, he was back. Funny little interaction I thought I would share with everyone :) 🐻

The game internally sorts enemies into tribes. Two of those tribes are Roc Birds and Jinns.

While one would expect Simurgh to be a Roc Bird, internally he's assigned as a Jinn, which I thought was silly and almost definitely a mistake lol.

This issue has always been present in the game for me to some extent, but after Kintaro, the game is nigh unplayable.

It feels like there is a low limit of audio channels, and certain acts cause it to easily overflow, causing audio cutting out/popping/crackling etc.

In combat, try using snow queens aoe blizzard ult and have 3 others (kintaro is a big offender) attack mobs. You will hear audio cutting out. Unless this is my issue only?

Is there any group on discord for multiplayer run ? I play using switch

My Kintaro lacked DPS, was aiming for a dash build and somehow managed to do Ogre Blood and Vit build with dash cd and charges. Tanked every boss in the game and somehow survived with Holy Grail and the talent that regens HP when I ride Kuma again.
