Make sure these images still follow the rules of the sub, and as usual, please report anything that might break those rules.
Happy commenting!

Why did people in the old days dress so well, when they could barely get clean?
I saw a picture the other day. It was a really old picture from the early 1900's of all these really well dressed people at the beach on a hot summer day. It didn't look like a special event, it just looked like a day at the beach.
Everyone looked great but it got me thinking about how bad people must have smelled. With today's access to clean running water, high tech washing machines, deodorants and body products, it would make far more sense for people today to dress like that.
Back then, they should have been wearing shorts and t shirts, instead of sweating like hogs and then having to wash three peice suits and ball gowns down in the river.
I don't expect anyone from that time to be on reddit to give a first hand account of why they dressed like they did... i just wonder why they made life so much harder on themselves when things were hard enough already.

I haven't slept a single minute in over two days. In that time, I also forgot to eat anything. What the hecking heck?
*0 drugs. Also, and I’m not saying this to be a creep, I’ve masturbated 23 times…
This is all out of character for me.

Do You Ever Question Your Own Thoughts?
Our brains are constantly thinking, but have you ever felt that some of your thoughts are pointless or unproductive? Have you made any changes to improve the way you think?
And what's the most interesting thought you've ever had?

Does someone knows the tutorial of living?
How to take baby steps? How to handle overwhelming emotions of living alone (in a dorm) and uncertainty? Argh.

What's the most annoying (but petty) thing someone you're otherwise on good terms with did to you?
Petty as in small, not spiteful.
So nothing life-ruining, dangerous, or traumatic. More, something that was enough to get under your skin, but NOT enough to alter your relationship with them or lose your respect.
It can be from any time period, like maybe your life long best friend ate your lunch in the 2nd grade and you're still mad about it lol
I don't have an answer at the moment. I'm just nosy.

How do monkeys clean their butts?
So looking at the mammalian family tree we have lots of butt-lickers. Cats, dogs, bats etc. Some don’t, notably marine mammals spring to mind.
We’re obviously wipers (or at least I hope we are) and that would’ve come with the stiffening of the spine and the upright walking and all that rot…
So what do monkeys do? Where in the evolutionary tree did we transition from lickers to wipers?

Did your elementary/middle/high schools have doors on the students' restrooms' toilet stalls?
Because all my 13 years (1979 t0 1991) in mine did not.
Just curious
