So I haven't touched my PS3 in almost two years. I finally got it hooked back up and I'm wondering where should I start getting it updated? What new things should I look into?

I have just released a VSH plugin for PS3s running custom firmware which enables DVDs to be played via RGB SCART. It prevents the unit from switching to YPbPr when playback begins, eliminating the "green video" issue that has frustrated RGB SCART users for decades at this point.

The plugin is available from my GitHub repository, alongside all of the knowledge that I have amassed regarding the PS3's video output format switching protocols throughout development. It has been tested under Evitnat 4.92 (CEX/Cobra).

It works with both BluRay and DVDs. :)

ive seen on social media some players getting delisted and hard to get avatars from their modded console, i was really curious how they arent banned, would connecting your psn account to a modded ps3 flag something on sonys radar, ive been interested in modding my ps3 for avatars but im scared to get psn banned, i just really want those region locked/delisted avatars
