I got a notification that Nxgen is going up to $85/month, which is a $15 dollar increase per month.

Is anyone else getting sick of this? They do these aggressive hikes every year.

No one asked for a smoothie bar, or new machines after two years.

I get the sense that this is financing their other locations. I understand that businesses need to do this to a point, but NxGen? Let’s be real. It’s a pretty good gym, but it’s not luxury. It’s barely staffed anyway. And it’s also not like it’s open 24/7.

Sometimes I wish businesses would just stay in their lane. This feels greedy.

Does anyone commute from Portland to Boston? I’m curious of your experience using public transport or driving everyday and what you prefer? Of course we all get down to Boston for day trips, but I’m looking for experiences/issues with a regular commute. Maybe even average travel time or even how long it took for you to feel burnt out with the travel.
