It's so genuinely interesting how much the reception had changed in the eyes of online music fans since the last decade. It was already beloved by EDM spaces, but still needed to be defended from those who didn't really 'get' electronic music at the time.

Fast forward to 2026 and it's safe to say Worlds has gone down as some of the most influential/remarkable releases of the internet age.

I find it very funny that new fans that are just starting to discover porter robinson might see her as just a random anime girl from some obscure ova whereas those who have been fans since discovering shelter or even earlier during the spitfire years would have cried their eyes out

Made a quick remix a couple months ago before the actual remix. The funny thing is that the ending has the same chop up work. I just found this coincidence funny. It's also almost in the same area.

Now I understand that these are really BS popularity rankings overall and not to be taken seriously, but there’s no way you can tell me current day that Porter to your average Edm fan wouldn’t be put above at least half of these artists.

I do remember back in the day Porter spent 7 straight years in the top 100, starting from spitfire era 2011 all the way through worlds era, ending the steak after 2017 ish, and hasn’t been on the list since which is a bit surprising, of course worlds era he was up there but more surprised no years of nurture making it.

My first time painting a pumpkin lol; I tried, he's a bit plump XD! I thought about adding a spooky costume on him, I'll probably add a witch hat on his head with the stem! Also, yes that's "Crotaro" again! :D (Saw u/One-Efficiency-9205 's and decided to make a pumpkin myself!)

bought this at a cheap price last year.

it came in a japan maxi-single jewel case cd with a booklet (it's just 3 printed a4 paper) about the worlds release.

thought this was a widely available sampler, but i couldn't find any info about it anywhere, so i don't know if this is real or not lol. thought it'd be cool to upload it here.

i scanned the papers and the cd. sorry about the heavily creased paper, i did my best scanning it and also tried to clean it proper.

there are three songs in this cd. it's

1. Lionhearted
2. Sad Machine
3. Sea of Voices

the songs in the sampler are basically the same as the album version, no changes

Hey Lionhearted Fam,

I know I've been MIA. Seven months ago my healthy single mother suffered a massive double stroke. She spent three weeks on a ventilator and I cried every day watching her slip away, but she somehow found the will to breathe on her own. I took three months of unpaid leave to be with her at rehab every day, and now she's home with me. Overnight I became the sole caregiver for a paralyzed, non-verbal elderly woman. I thought losing my dad to cancer in 2020 would be the saddest chapter of my life. Nothing prepared me for this.

When Madeon came to town, I knew I had to go just to take back a piece of my life. I danced all night and completely broke down when Hugo played Heavy with Hoping and Shelter. It was exactly the release I needed. I just wanna say Fuck Cancer, and Fuck Strokes.

My life will never be the same, but I'm thankful my mom is still here. We can snuggle up in her favorite Madeon blanket or dance to a set together so she gets a glimpse of what it's like.

Hugo, if you're reading this, thank you for your music and for healing my heart during these dark times. Hope to see y'all at a future show, and please keep my mom in your thoughts.
