Altro Title: UniME Foundation Course 2026/2027 – How do we access the lectures?

Hi everyone! Is anyone enrolled in the UniME Foundation Course for 2026/2027?

How do we enroll in or access the online lectures? The course was supposed to start on October 12, but it’s already October 15 and I still can’t find any lectures or announcements on Outlook or the e-learning platform.

I’ve also emailed the university but haven’t received any reply yet.

Is anyone experiencing the same problem, or has anyone received instructions on how to join the classes?

Thank you!

Discussione Is PoliMi the best option in Italy for an engineering bachelor?

I am a non-EU applicant from Turkiye, studying my first year in Bogazici University in Molecular Biology and Genetics. My main objective is to study in Europe, specifically Italy because of how accesible and economical its top universities are compared to those in Turkiye.

I also specifically aim for PoliTo Mechanics and PoliMi Engineering Science.Apart from Milano's expenses,I hear a lot of negative thought about PoliMi from Italian and abroad students. If you ask a random student from Turkiye who studies in Italy, they will usually complain about PoliTo being too hard and theory oriented.I keep hearing these about PoliMi too, from Italian and abroad students.

While I understand the logic behind these complains, comparing PoliMi to other countries' top universities;my family's budget is what constraints me the most.I think even if PoliMi is as bad as they say,it will be an upgrade for me to move there. What is your suggestions and advices?

Also is it guaranteed that PoliMi will translate all the scores to a 0-100 scale?Because previous year PoliTo prioritized TIL and no non-EU student could get accepted for Mechanical Engineering with SAT scores, even the ones with 1550-1570 scores.

Last question:What would you recommend me to aim in the SAT for an easy acceptance to Engineering Science?

Domanda How should I report grades for an integrated dual-degree programme at BITS Pilani?

I’m applying to the MSc in Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano and need some guidance regarding how to report my academic grades as i pursued 2 degrees in undergrad they are reported cumutatively in marksheets.

I completed an integrated five-year dual-degree programme at BITS Pilani, India, comprising (please refer the ss):

  • B.E. (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering
  • M.Sc. in Biological Sciences

Since this was an integrated programme, my grades were reported cumulatively for each semester across the curriculum, rather than as completely separate semester-wise grade sheets for the two degrees.

I’m unsure what I should enter in the application’s academic history section, specifically for the Mechanical Engineering degree.

Should I:

  1. Enter the cumulative semester-wise grades and overall CGPA for the entire integrated programme?
  2. Report only the grades corresponding to the Mechanical Engineering component, if these can be identified separately?
  3. Enter the details of both degrees separately, even though the semester-wise grades were cumulative?

Has anyone from BITS Pilani or another university with an integrated dual-degree programme faced a similar situation while applying to Polimi or another European university?

I’d really appreciate any advice on how to report the grades correctly and what supporting documents I should upload.

Thank you!

PS: I sent out an enquiry form and asked the operators also but due to high volume of enquiries it will take sometime to reply.

Altro Mathematical Engineering Results

Hi everyone!

I recently applied for the MSc in Mathematical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, and I was wondering how long it usually takes to receive an admission decision.

Has anyone applied recently? How long did it take to hear back?

Thanks in advance!
