Domanda How should I report grades for an integrated dual-degree programme at BITS Pilani?
I’m applying to the MSc in Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano and need some guidance regarding how to report my academic grades as i pursued 2 degrees in undergrad they are reported cumutatively in marksheets.
I completed an integrated five-year dual-degree programme at BITS Pilani, India, comprising (please refer the ss):
- B.E. (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering
- M.Sc. in Biological Sciences
Since this was an integrated programme, my grades were reported cumulatively for each semester across the curriculum, rather than as completely separate semester-wise grade sheets for the two degrees.
I’m unsure what I should enter in the application’s academic history section, specifically for the Mechanical Engineering degree.
Should I:
- Enter the cumulative semester-wise grades and overall CGPA for the entire integrated programme?
- Report only the grades corresponding to the Mechanical Engineering component, if these can be identified separately?
- Enter the details of both degrees separately, even though the semester-wise grades were cumulative?
Has anyone from BITS Pilani or another university with an integrated dual-degree programme faced a similar situation while applying to Polimi or another European university?
I’d really appreciate any advice on how to report the grades correctly and what supporting documents I should upload.
Thank you!
PS: I sent out an enquiry form and asked the operators also but due to high volume of enquiries it will take sometime to reply.

Altro Mathematical Engineering Results
Hi everyone!
I recently applied for the MSc in Mathematical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, and I was wondering how long it usually takes to receive an admission decision.
Has anyone applied recently? How long did it take to hear back?
Thanks in advance!

Domanda Quick questions about PoliMi admission tests for engineering science : TOLC-I / CENT-S & "Booking Closed" status?
Hi everyone
I'm a non eu student applying for an English-taught bachelor's program in engineering science at PoliMi and need help with a few urgent questions:
Test Language: Are the TOLC-I and CENT-S taken in English for English-taught programs, or are some parts in Italian?
"Booking Closed": The portal says "booking closed" and only shows dates up to December. Does this mean it's completely over for this cycle, or will new test windows open up later?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can clarify!

Domanda When to send GRE and TOEFL marks?
For Msc Mech applications , TOEFL is required and they've kept GRE as an additional add on you can send, as per the website. They have provided the institute code as well.
Do I need to submit the scores through ETS before I start the application, or do I have to do so later on?
I asked this on the website's portal as well, but got no response.

Discussione 2027/2028 admission to civil engineering taught in english
Hi so im currently in my 12th year (final year) of highschool in the Philippines and im planning to apply to polimi with sat. Im also a dual citizen (italian and filipino) so i think i qualify as an EU student with foreign qualifications (??) im not sure tho. But rn im really stressing about my chances of getting in because apparently i missed the early phase enrollment so im going to have to participate in the standard rankings and i havent even taken the sat yet. Im going to take nov 7 but im so scared that if i dont get 1500+ im not going to get admitted especially since its a very competitive course and also i’ve heard that sometimes there arent any slots left in the standard phase because its been filled in early phase already so im kicking myself rn for missing the early phase. Pls help me clear my mind and just focus on my sat pls.

Discussione POLIMI APPLICATION FOR BACHELORS FOR 2027/28 INTAKE
I was going to take the December SAT so that I can apply for the PoliMi 2027/28 admission. But the process expressed in the website is very complicated and AI search isn't even helping. Our school doesn't have a counselor and I am a non EU senior student.
Anyone willing to help me?

Altro 🚨 CIMEA BEFORE OCTOBER 31. Is it possible?polimi Extension
Hi everyone! Polimi just emailed me today saying that my documents are missing proof of my high school diploma’s authenticity. I already have my Dichiarazione di Valore (DoV) and a paper apostille, but they require either a CIMEA Verification Statement or an e-Apostille, which my country doesn’t provide.
The deadline is October 31, and I’ve only just been notified! I’ve emailed them asking for an extension, but I’m worried about the timing.
If I apply for CIMEA today, could I receive it before the deadline? And if not, does Polimi usually grant extensions in these situations?
I’d really appreciate any advice or similar experiences. Thank you! 🙏

Domanda Reapplying to Polimi Communication Design
Hello everyone! Not sure if this is the right place, but I'd really appreciate some advice. I'm an international student with a bachelor's degree in Multimedia Technology and a GPA of 3.01/4. I also have 2 years of work experience as a graphic designer.
My dream is to do a master's in Communication Design at Polimi. I applied last year and wasn't accepted, but I want to try again this year. I know the selection is very competitive, and I'm worried my GPA and portfolio might still not be strong enough. My thesis was an animation film, and I can show my full process work for it, along with projects from my 2 years of professional design work.
For anyone who has applied (or been accepted), what would you improve in my portfolio for a second attempt?
Do I realistically still have a chance? Any advice on what the committee looks for would really help. Thank you so much in advance!

Hey everyone! Thank you so much for your patience! 🎉
I’m excited to announce that the ARCHED General Knowledge preparation website is finally ready!
As CISIA emphasizes, doing well in the General Knowledge section of ARCHED requires the ability to connect a wide range of knowledge across time and space. That’s exactly what this platform is designed to help you develop, little by little, every day.
The website has been significantly upgraded since I first introduced it, and I’ll continue updating and improving it based on your feedback!

Domanda Process Engineering at PoliMi - SAT scores, admission phases, portfolios, and student experiences.
Hi everyone!
I’m currently in Grade 12 in North America, and I’m interested in applying to the new English-taught Bachelor’s in Process Engineering at Politecnico di Milano for 2027 entry. I’m also an EU citizen, although I currently live and study in North America.
Since this is a new program, I’d love to hear from people who have been accepted or are currently studying it, as well as anyone who has gone through the application process.
I have a few questions:
1. If you were accepted into Process Engineering, what SAT score did you get, and which admission phase were you accepted in?
2. What were the approximate admission cutoffs for EU applicants? I’m trying to get a realistic idea of what SAT score I should aim for.
3. Does being an EU citizen living outside Europe affect which admission category or ranking list I apply through?
4. Are portfolios required for admission to Process Engineering? I’ve seen people discussing portfolios, and I’m not sure whether they’re necessary for this specific program. If they are, what should they include?
5. For anyone currently studying the program, how has your experience been so far? How are the courses, professors, workload, and overall organization?
6. Do you think Process Engineering is a good choice if you’re interested in working in the chemical or food industries and possibly pursuing a master’s in Food Engineering later?
7. How does Process Engineering compare with Industrial Engineering and Engineering Science in terms of course content, career opportunities, and future master’s options?
8. Is there anything you wish you had known before applying, or any advice you would give to someone applying for the next academic year?
I’d really appreciate any advice or experiences you could share. Thank you!

Discussione Helppp me pleaaase
Hey,,,,Quick question about Polimi applications. I’m planning to apply during the Early Bird window in December, but take an alternative test (like CEnT-S) in January. Do you know if the system allows submitting the test score in January for the December application, or is there a strict deadline that might cause an issue? Thanks a lot!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Domanda Dsu not eligible
Hello, I want to ask what I can do in case I am not eligible for the DSU ranking since I didn't get the ISEEU.
I wasn't able to get the ISEEU because I submitted the reddito on August 10th instead of August 5th due to difficult conditions getting the documents in my country.
