Accountability Notice 2: UPDATE
This is a followup to this post so please read that first, but to summarize it briefly, a former moderator ( u/SaltyAngeleno aka u/gofundmemetoday was found to be removing negative posts, promoting surgeons, etc. in exchange for financial compensation). I promised future updates, which are included below.
- Last night, the former moderator DM'd me attempting to blackmail me to remove the original post. Their message is included in its entirety below:

Transparency remains of the highest importance to me when moderating this subreddit, and I will not be removing anything in response to threats.
Reddit itself ultimately took no action against this individual following the original report of their behavior and offered no direct explanation for why. I can only speculate that this is because the former moderator was receiving payments off of their platform (making it technically outside their scope of authority/responsibility). The former moderator even continues to moderate a few plastic surgery related communities, though fewer than they once did.
An account associated with "Beauty Broker Melinda" (who was named in the original post as having negative reviews removed by the former moderator) has spent considerable effort attempting to dox and discredit me. You can find such an example here. Their comments seem to confuse me with numerous current and former moderators. Reddit has not taken any action despite reports.
Despite my requests, Reddit was unable to provide me with a log of moderator actions from the former moderator that were more than 90 days old. As such, I am unable to determine the full extent of their censorship.
This subreddit has zero tolerance for surgeons attempting to remove negative reviews. As the subreddit rules state, negative reviews posted here do require evidence to be included. Once that threshold is met, they will not be removed by us for any reason - this subreddit is intended to be an open and transparent platform for users to share their experience. Despite this a number of surgeons (and/or their offices and lawyers) have attempted to have us remove content that is critical of them. Moving forward, I will be posting and maintaining a comprehensive list of surgeons that have attempted to have negative reviews removed for transparency. Hopefully, this discourages future attempts at manipulating criticism against them.
In short, Reddit admins were either unwilling or unable to take any official action against the above individuals. I will be continuing my best efforts to maintain this subreddit as an open and transparent space for plastic surgery and aesthetic discussion, and the support of the community is always appreciated.

Is this nose job possible?
My nose is wide at the bridge and tip. I want to slim my nose and make it more upturned/ or lift it since it's very droopy. Am i delusional or is this nose job possible?

What type pf surgery could I get to improve double chin!
gallery27y/o, I’ve always had fat and fullness under my chin my entire life and it’s been a toll on my self esteem and aesthetic. I can’t grow a beard due to my job, so I was wondering what (if ant) procedures would help this and be as cost effective as reasonably possible?

How long have your lifts lasted before skin laxity took hold again (breast, arm, tummy, butt, thigh)
Hi all. I am in the beginning stages of planning out my skin removal procedures. I have been all excited, ready to go but then started coming across some posts about how quicky sagging started after surgery. I know this can happen with weight fluctuations but the posters denied that was the cause. I thought these surgeries generally maintained the look for 15-20 years but I'm reading 5-10 years for my age. Now I'm second guessing my decision to spend the amount it will cost for just a few years worth of tone/tightness before looking the same way I do now. For reference, 55F, and I know the older you are, the faster the laxity happens. I lost 100+ lbs and will have been stable in the 'normal weight' range for almost a year by the time the first surgery happens. I have about 3 inches worth of sagging on my arms, 3 on belly (bending over), 4-5 on my thighs. Breasts are completely deflated and fully sagging. I planned a full lift and implants.
Any insight/experienced you can offer would be great to help me make a more informed decision

Uplift with or without implants - HELP NSFW
galleryPhoto 1: before and immediately after first breast lift in 2022
Rest of photos: current situation
Story:
- I’m 33F and I am a bariatric patient (gastric sleeve 7 years ago). I’ve lost 16 stones and now maintaining my final weight.
- I had my first lift in 2022 as I thought I had finished losing weight
- I then went on to lose another 5 stone and that has left me with the breasts I have now
- as you can see my skin is extremely damaged and I desperately need a lift. I can’t decide between a lift alone and lift with implants. My concerns with implants is that my skin/body won’t hold the weight due to the damage and my hypermobility and they’ll sag/bottom out/whatever else and look awful very quickly
- I have been warned that my scars will touch in the middle and this will create a degree of symmastia (uni boob) that is unavoidable due to the degree of sagging and the width of my breasts
- my surgeons plan: lift, 300CC max, under muscle, silicone, permanent stitching of breast tissue to the ribs & no mesh. He’s an expert in breast reconstruction and I trust him explicitly.
- I’m scared of any surgery due to previous complications but the way my breasts look is effecting my mental health. I don’t have any butt at all it’s all flat and sagged and my 🐱 isn’t much better. Without some kind of breast I don’t feel like a woman and it’s effecting my relationships, sex life, everything basically.
- it is so hard to find anyone like me when looking at implant before & afters, I only ever find ‘normal’ women
- I’m not rich and don’t come from money. I will be having surgery in the UK and refuse to go abroad, please don’t recommend turkey or anywhere else.
- do I just go for it and get the implants and then deal with anything that happens in the future. Or do I just a get lift and if needed implants later? If I get a lift and implants later the cost will be a lot more as it’s 2 surgeries instead of 1.
- I’m happy with my choice of surgeon and don’t want recs for other surgeons.
What would be best for someone like me?
- option 1) lift only (~£9.5k)
- option 2) lift and implants (~£13k)
** I’m not breaking the rules. I’m not asking for you to decide the surgery for me. I’m asking opinions on whether implants or not would be best for someone with severe skin laxity like me **
(Please no comments about my poor FDL. I developed a large haemtoma and was hospitalised for a week. It was done by a different surgeon but will be fixed by my breast surgeon at the same time as my breasts).

Gummy smile Botox gone wrong
3.5 weeks ago got my alarplasty revised and she injected 3 units of Botox below my nostril and slightly to the side. (Never had a gummy smile she just didn't want a lot of movement in the area). Lip frozen and sitting lower. literally feels like dead weight (even at rest it seems I lost the tone in that area) .... main problem is it is pulling and adding tension to my (central bullhorn) lip lift scar which is not even a year old.... like wtf! When I smile my lip looks lower, flat, and strange like a big roll lol. Base of nose seems lower (that muscle must do something to that area too). I hope it doesn't permanently damage and stretch my lip lift scar .... any experiences with gummy smile botox? Time line? (She did 18 units of dysport she says that's the equivalent to 6 units- 3 per side). I am going to try the saline injections in the area to see if that helps speed the process up. Anyone have luck with that? Thank you

Is 20 cc of filler in a single session too much for penis enlargement?
Hey everyone,
I’m currently consulting for non-surgical penis girth enhancement. An Italian urologist/andrologist with over 20 years of experience recommended a 20 cc (ml) package in a single session.
The doctor is highly reputable and experienced, but 20 cc all at once sounds like a lot to me for a first session. I’m quite anxious about potential complications—specifically migration, uneven lumps/nodules, prolonged edema, or vascular compromise.
For those who have had filler injections (HA or other types) or have medical knowledge in this field:
- Did you get 20 cc injected in one single sitting, or did you split it into 2–3 sessions (e.g., 10 cc + touch-ups)?
Thanks everyone

Loose Skin from Lipo Fix NSFW
galleryHello everyone!
I had liposuction several years ago, and unfortunately, my surgeon was very aggressive with VASER.
My three biggest concerns are:
• Above my knees: Loose skin that hangs like a little hood.
• Back of my thighs: Skin laxity and irregularities.
• One side of my buttock crease: A hollow or indentation. Could Sculptra help restore some volume in this small area?
I would appreciate hearing from people or doctors who have dealt with similar liposuction issues and can share their honest experiences, including what worked, what did not, and whether the results were worth the cost.

Septo rhinoplasty before vs after. I think my septum still look deviated, or am I overthinking?
galleryHi guys, i need honest opinion. I had septo-rhinoplasty a month ago. I know swelling is still there but i think my septum is still deviated. My nostrils look asymmetrical as well as my nose itself is off-centred too. Am I overthinking or is it fine?
If any plastic surgeon or ENT specialist seeing this, what do you think?

Did you notice a difference in the way people treated you after getting work done?
Like were people subtly nicer or ruder or had different assumptions about you? Anything of that sort

Breast augmentation/pain
Hi everyone!
looking to get some advice,
I have a few consultations scheduled in the next week or so for a breast augmentation in the LA and greater LA areas (any recs are welcomed too)
I’ve included a recent body picture.
I am 5’10 and somewhere around 110/115 lbs.
i am looking to stay natural looking with some
More size.
I have wanted larger breasts all of my life (only woman in my family who is smaller chested) and I have considered the options. Not trying to go oversized, or change my natural shape (which I like). I am around a 32 A
I would love to hear success stories, anything-
I am feeling a bit anxious about recovery and pain, considering they are something that has to get revised in the future.
Wanting to hear any pain/regrets/advice as well as the good parts.
Successful revisions? What to watch out for pain and sickness wise?
Best consults in greater LA?
Thank you! Any advice welcome

Contemplating adding on fat transfer to breasts- wanting to hear others experience
Hi! So within the past two years I’ve lost around 115lbs resulting in a lot of excess skin. I’m scheduled for an extended TT w/lipo in November. I mentioned to my surgeon at our last visit that I was concerned about the lack of upper pole fullness in my breasts. They are very bottom heavy. I’m still at around a cup size D/DD. (I am a large person so they do fit my frame - 28F 5’10” 165lbs) but there is absolutely no volume at the top of the breast so they do appear very flat. He offered the option of fat transfer since I’m already having the lipo done. The added cost is only around $3400 and compared to the rest of the surgery it’s not all that much. If I end up going back after my TT to do it I’m sure it will be much more expensive , and I may not even have enough fat left to transfer. I am not wanting to do implants because I don’t want to have them replaced in 10-15 years and not sure how comfortable I’ll be with feeling the implants etc. no lift because I actually had one when I was 18 and they’re not super saggy, my nipples are high. The breast is just not full at the top
Has anyone had this done in addition to TT? Worth it?

What procedures could help correct my facial imbalance?
galleryI know facial asymmetry is completely normal, but I've struggled with mine a lot over the last few years, and I want to see options for addressing the things I'm self-conscious about.
So my whole right side is pretty much lower than my left. My right eye and eyebrow are lower, and the right side of my nose is slightly lower too, it’s most noticeable when looking at my nostrils. My smile is uneven, with the right side looking more elongated and flat? My chin and cheeks are where the asymmetry is most noticeable :(
I'm not sure what would be the best, whether that's Botox, fillers, surgery, or something else, and I'm not even sure what to get done where. Also, I'm not sure if it's relevant, but I had braces in the past to correct a crossbite and gap. But my crossbite is still there.

Motiva implants and BII
I want to get implants for such a long time now, and the only thing that’s holding me back is the fear of my body rejecting the implants and developing BII. I always react really sensitive, even to piercings etc so I’m afraid my body will not handle them. I‘m so unhappy and frustrated with my breasts tho that I can’t decide what to do.
Have some of y‘all developed BII? Is it real ?
Are you happy with your implants ? How do breasts look after explant ?
And do motiva implants lower the risk of developing bii? What was your experience?
My surgeon suggested small motiva implants OTM for me.
Thanks for answers

RHA Redensity in lips
Considering getting RHA Redensity in my lips - has anyone had experience with it and how was the swelling? I don't want more volume, just hydration and a natural look so no one can tell, getting my lips back to how they used to look.

I feel like a duck! Day 6 after lip filler 🥲😂
galleryHi! I got lip filler 6 days ago (0.8 ml in my upper lip and 0.2 ml in my lower lip). I know I need to wait at least 15 days to see the final results, but I wanted to know if anyone else has had a similar experience.
I’m worried that my upper lip might stay looking like a “duck lip” and that it’s not just swelling, but rather that the filler was poorly placed or that too much filler was used for my lips.
Has anyone else gone through this stage? Did your lips eventually settle and look more natural once the swelling went down?
I’ll also include some before photos for reference. Thank you!

ENT or plastic surgeon for ear tag removal? Need some advice
I have an ear tag on the lateral edge of my ear, I'm considering going for its removal. The ENT I've consulted charges around Rs 15,000 plus medicines, he's done such procedures before but doesn't have any pictures of the before and after.
My main concern is that of the cosmetic results, I don't want a notch on my ear or a prominent scar. Besides, I cannot afford consulting multiple doctors.
So are you someone who'd go for an ENT here for such a procedure, or will it be worth paying an additional sum to ensure the cosmetic results by consulting a plastic surgeon?
If you've undergone such a procedure, may I know what your experience was like? I'm in Pakistan. Thanks!

But injections
I got but injections around 10 years ago with a friend of mine. It wasn’t from a legit place either I was young and basically being a follower because she got it! I was told it was collagen getting injected. Years later (now) I have decided I want to get a bbl and going to pay 25k for a top surgeon here in az. Thankfully nothing happen after injection my but didn’t change one bit-I know I have to be honest with the surgeon during my consultation but I’d be sooooo upset if he turns me away…. Like before she said it was collegen but my friend who got it with me said it was a product called “Qwo” which was fda approved buttt discontinued due to bruising side effects. But who really knows if that’s what it was. Me and my gf years later have had 0 issues with our buts. Should I get a mri done before my consultation??? Or a x ray???

Otoplasty results 8 months later.. still unhappy.
galleryOtoplasty results eight months later.. still unhappy.
Around eight months ago i had an otoplasty done, and i didn’t like the results. I made a post here at the time, and i was told it was not that bad or that it was still early to judge the results. Well, its been awhile now and my ears still look the same. I do honestly feel that they were botched and I will never really like their look unless I have a revision done.
The right ear is too tight, and both ears have this weird telephonish shape, especially the right one. My lobes pop out which only increases the weird look. Last picture is how my ears were before. From the side they look ok as can be seen on the picture.
What frustrates me is that i thought this was a good doctor. He had reviews online all of which were 5 starts and everyone saying how they had their self esteem back because of him, though they had different procedures done, not an otoplasty.
