I turned 18 yesterday. I come from a toxic family addicted to drugs, and I started very young. The first time I used cocaine I was 14. I was diagnosed with ADHD and took Ritalin.
I became addicted to snorting Ritalin; in school I would snort about 80mg a day. Sometimes it would go over 100mg. I discovered ayahuasca and magic mushrooms, and it changed my life. My treatment-resistant depression disappeared overnight.
I quit smoking cigarettes, drinking, and snorting cocaine about a year ago. But I think I got a free nasal valve collapse. When I breathe heavily, one side of my nose (the one I used more drugs on) closes up. The septum on that side is absurdly separated, as if it were curved, and only the other nostril is normal.
I'm freaking out, I need to see an ENT doctor. What's your opinion? Please.

Hi guys.
I know someone who had a very bad experience with general anesthesia. I really want to get a certain surgery done. I know getting surgery would make me feel much more confident in myself. The problem is, that I’m not scared of the surgery itself but I’m very scared of getting anesthesia due to someone else’s experience. How was your experience with anesthesia? I feel like I would be much more calm hearing some positive/ neutral story’s.
Thank u!

Could you recommend a plastic surgeon in Europe for a facelift?

Okay, so this is for looksmaxxers that want to get surgery by him especially canthoplasty, I’ve had my surgery with him in start of 2025 nose job and canthoplasty, honestly I was very happy for like 4-5 months but after that it went down hill, one of my nostrils was smaller than the other and he said it was normal but I knew it wasn’t normal also my canthoplasty was literally gone after 3-4 months my eyes weren’t lifted anymore like they used to be. Then we talked again about my nose job in December 2025 and he said we could do revision, but he said he didn’t want doctor fees, just hospital fees, which was 3500 euros? Obviously it’s ridiculously high and they tried to rip me off when I obviously paid for my nose job 3000 and your telling me the hospital fees are 3500 euros? Him and his assistants have such a big ego, whenever u try to talk to him he’s not listening to your problems or lets you talk at all. It’s only all about him
It’s been almost 2 years now and my nose has collapsed more than before, canthoplasty fully gone and I can’t properly do anything run, or walk without having to open my mouth because of my small nostril which makes me breath harder, I need a nose job but I‘m scared to go to a new doctor and my nose turns out worse

Hi! I'm 18 and looking into plastic surgery to achieve a softer appearance
My main concern is the vertical length of my lower face. I feel like my face looks quite elongated, but my chin itself is already relatively short, so I'm unsure whether chin reduction would actually help.
I've attached two photos: the first is my original face, and the second is an edited version where I shortened my lower face
My goal is to achieve something similar to the edited photo naturally, without relying on makeup or filters , what surgeries would i have to get to achieve the edited result!! , Jang Wonyoung is my main face inspo aswell as zhao lusi and aespa giselle
I was also wondering how much this would cost I'm willing to do anything for this surgery xd
Thank u sm in advance (˶ˆᗜˆ˵)

I had eyelid surgery twice, and it was the most painful experience I've ever been through. I'm not sure the exact method, if it was local/twilight/etc. Overall I felt very relaxed, and my body couldn't move if I tried (besides opening and closing my eyes). However, the pain was extreme, and I could feel the cutting and every movement.
Looking back I don't know why I didn't tell the surgeon to stop. It was as if I couldn't tell him to because my body couldn't move, and I also feel too tired to say anything.
I looked it up and one cause could be high metabolism (which I have). I also have ptsd, which causes a strong fight or flight response, which could have affected the effects of the anesthetic.

I’m almost 40 and definitely feeling and seeing it.
I’m noticing nasiolabal lines and possibly marionette lines?!!! Ugh. I’ve never had Botox or fillers. Where do I start? Thank you

Unhappy with my side profile, considering a sliding genio or a chin implant. i'm scared of bone resorption but didn't know if it was a 100% guarantee or just a result of misplacement.

Hi. 18F Might be the wrong place but i really domt know where to post... maybe admin can delete if its not right. As shown in the picture i have an old scar since I was young on the philtrum. I know its quite long but I have a tall chin too. Its always been protuding but the scar make it worse. Its also very stiff and when I push down it makes the lip look bigger so yeah i want it more like that. Is there anyway to fix it? It wouldnt bother me but in pictures theres a shadow there and it really bothers me that damned shadow

I had very mild ptosis after weight loss so I had a breast lift + lipofilling roughly 1 month ago.
I expected my nipples to widen a bit, both for the surgery technique (round-block) and cuz I had a puffy/forward projected areola, but 2-3 weeks post op I started to notice they were getting way too big, until they reached (for now) 2 inches.
I think they look really bad, because my breasts aren't big at all (cup B/small C), but I wasn't too worried cuz I've read it's "normal" to be all stretched out and swollen after just one month (and I knew that areola revisions were a thing).
But when I saw the surgeon and told him my concerns, I felt like he dismissed my worries (first my nipples weren't 'that' big, then that it was kinda expected for them to stretch), and told me they will not shrink back, and was also very vague about the possibility of a revision, saying that not much can be done ("he explained that removing more skin could cause puckering around the areola, since I have a wide base).
Now I feel horrible because I dont like them at all. I know I should wait and see how things settle, but I'm not hopeful, since he said they won't shrink back and I feel like a revision may be off the table.
It's hard because I had every reason to trust this surgeon: previous surgeries I've done with him and friends who had good results. So I'm a bit disappointed. I'm not sure if it's just my impression, or if he was really covering himself in advance...but, except for the areolas, the breasts look good.
Has anyone been through something similar?

I am planning on getting smartlipo on my flanks and abdomen region. Do you think I will see a good result if I pick a good surgeon? Or should I avoid surgery? I workout and eat relatively healthy but do eat bad a couple days a week. Fat genetically always goes to my stomach and love handles. Wanted to get your opinions

I have a wide face and find the phone front camera extremely flattering, I like how I look in the mirror, however on back cameras my face look extremely fleshy and depending on the angle the lower face looks very bulbous. What can I do? Would something like Onda/Ultherapy help? I had masseter tox once and loved the result, but it was subtle so I'm thinking of combining with something else. I'm 34yo

Hi everyone. I am planning on getting Lipo from a doctor in California in Newport Beach. He does not do aggressive Lipo (like Miami) and his results are pretty natural. I am a pretty petite girl, but I’ve always had some stubborn fat on my stomach and have wanted to get a more hour glass shape figure. (Not a lot of fat tbh) but I do have some. I am 123 lbs and I’m about 4’10. And honestly I am pretty good at pain; and tolerating it (got a boob job I would rate it a 2/10; lip fillers 2/10 but ofc with lidocaine, even got my lips dissolved I would say that was painful but tolerable) I’m just nervous because people say that Lipo is so painful like what is the pain like and how intolerable is it really? Like am I gonna be coming out of surgery screaming of pain and like about to pass out screaming dying throwing up? Or will I be fine lol a

I want to get implants for such a long time now, and the only thing that’s holding me back is the fear of my body rejecting the implants and developing BII. I always react really sensitive, even to piercings etc so I’m afraid my body will not handle them. I‘m so unhappy and frustrated with my breasts tho that I can’t decide what to do.
Have some of y‘all developed BII? Is it real ?
Are you happy with your implants ? How do breasts look after explant ?
And do motiva implants lower the risk of developing bii? What was your experience?
My surgeon suggested small motiva implants OTM for me.
Thanks for answers

Hi so i wanted to do plastic surgery with Dr Burak (a canthoplasty, blapheroplasty and rhino) but recently saw lot of people said that they've been "botched" by him. And i don't wanna do revisions because the only reason i wanna do it there is because it's way cheaper than in my country (France) but if i go there to get "botched" then have to pay for revisions i rather pay more in France what yall experience was with him ?

I’m getting a breast lift and implants next month how should I prepare?
I know to get button down pjs. Keep everything at hip height where it’s accessible to me. What else should I know? How else should I prepare?

I (26F) want to see Dr Jung and was quoted about 25-30k USD. For those that splurged, did u pay all up front? Or do installments? I wanna pay it over the course of 1 year but im not sure how to go about that as a Canadian? Any tips? Thanks in advance❤️

Hey, I'm 20m . I want to do an otoplasty and a genioplasty, or perhaps a peek implant
Purely for visual purposes. Aesthetics. I'm not insecure
My chin is 1cm recessed, which looks about normal, my side profile front both look good.
That's the issue, how do I tell them that I still want this
Ofc with my money
But they'll get upset and worried that I'll get botched
Edit: otoplasty is easy, just good old known surgery Chin, idk how to convince them
r/PlasticSurgery • u/Artistic-Mix-5199 • 9h ago
can’t go too far cuz of the mentolabial fold and also need some height becoause of short face
they say not recessed enough for jaw surgery 🤷
also does this type of genio movement require a graft ?
also is there any risk of new assymetry with this type of movement
r/PlasticSurgery • u/Ok-Cucumber-444 • 2h ago
I know facial asymmetry is completely normal, but I've struggled with mine a lot over the last few years, and I want to see options for addressing the things I'm self-conscious about.
So my whole right side is pretty much lower than my left. My right eye and eyebrow are lower, and the right side of my nose is slightly lower too, it’s most noticeable when looking at my nostrils. My smile is uneven, with the right side looking more elongated and flat? My chin and cheeks are where the asymmetry is most noticeable :(
I'm not sure what would be the best, whether that's Botox, fillers, surgery, or something else, and I'm not even sure what to get done where. Also, I'm not sure if it's relevant, but I had braces in the past to correct a crossbite and gap. But my crossbite is still there.
