P-pop “Oooh Lala Baby (Giling Giling Ko)” ng Baby Dolls ay puno pala Ng sexual innuendos

Today I learned. HAHAHA.
Exhibit A:
Mapapa-ooh
Mapapa-ooh-la-la
Tapos may “ooh-la-la” pa. 😂
Exhibit B:
’Pag ako ang minahal, bubuka ang bulaklak (Bulaklak)
Now, we all know na ang “bulaklak” ay puwede ring maging euphemism for female genitalia sa Filipino sexual humor. So “bubuka ang bulaklak” can definitely be interpreted as a sexual metaphor.
Exhibit C:
And then:
TIL na ang akala kong innocent na novelty dance song ay puwede palang basahin as a song about sexual desire, seduction, and intimacy, cleverly disguised as a catchy dance number.

Pulitika at Pamamahala SINO NGA BA SI ALLAN YAP? UMANO’Y KOLEKSYON NG “SOP” AT “PARKING FEE” SA DPWH, USAP-USAPAN

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Pinoy Rant/Vent Elitist guy from Salcedo

Came across this influencer/content creator (not sure i dont follow them) ranting about getting robbed in Salcedo. Okay na sana kaya lang when he was describing the alleged thieves medyo na-off ako sa way ng pag-describe niya. He even used phrases na “tacky mahogany” referring to the color of the hair nung girl na nagnakaw daw ng phone. Sabi pa niya yung hairstyle nung babae alam mong sa cheap salon lang makukuha. Of course someone called him out sa comments section pero grabe din yung response niya. Instead of addressing the critique, he shifted to defensive escalation and resulted to insults.

Idk ganito na ba talaga mayayaman ngayon?

For me:

Crime is wrong, and no one deserves to be robbed or pickpocketed.
Being a victim of a crime does not give someone a pass to express elitist, classist prejudices.

This is gonna make the senatorial race a lot more interesting.

I haven’t seen her appear in any recent surveys, and she might be opening herself to early attacks from the DDS, but this can also fuel a resurgence of youth engagement.

We need more intelligent and competent candidates like her and Chel Diokno and Heidi Mendoza to spice up the 2028 elections.

Of course, winning and landing in the Magic 12 is gonna be difficult. But that’s what fighting for political relevance and social justice is all about.

I’m gonna do everything in my power to support her and like-minded candidates.

During election campaign sambang samba kay BBM kahit na all the red flags are out there pero after ng rift between Marcos and Duterte biglang nagbago ihip ng hangin, ngayon kasalanan pa ng iba bakit daw nanalo.

Pinoy Rant/Vent Echoing the same sentiments as the UPV student. NSFW

Firstly, I'm going to be completely reckless with this which is why I flaired it as vent. Skip nalang if you can't take it. I saw this on Tiktok. I don't blame this person for how they feel. Hindi ko alam kung magastos lang ba talaga yung mga ganitong type ng mga estudyante or may mga part-time job para punan yung ganong luxuries, but I don't understand how can some of those people be scholars. Sasabihin nanaman ng iba, "Porket may pang ganto?" — an underprivileged student doesn't have the money to do that regularly. Let's say magaling sila kaya nakapasa, but is that the goal of UP? To cater to well-off students basta magaling lang?

When people say that those who can afford private education shouldn't be in UP, they're also talking about the limited slots SOME of those rich people are leeching off. Imagine, yung mga pa-woke na estudyanteng ito, sinasabihan siyang out of touch as if they're the ones who are experiencing the fishermen's suffering when even things like rallies have become a luxury to the underprivileged people who can't afford to waste their time. Sure, walang masama sa pag-protest, but shaming a fisherman's child for not going to the rally while rallying about the rights of fishermen is ironic.

Don't even get me started sa mga magulang sa comments na dinedefend mga anak nilang taga-UP and other people who are acting like yung mga mayayaman pa yung na-ostracized. "Hindi kami mayaman". Ahh, yes, a public school is for those with 100k+ phones, car that costs million, 'di naapektuhan sa kahit anong pagtaas ng gas, debit and credit cards, restaurants every day, and club on weekends.

Pulitika at Pamamahala China's mind games, POGOs, Pax Silica, and our endless frustration as Filipinos

Post image
10 Upvotes

Based on my observation, China is using mind game tactics in the Philippines. They play threat moves to force us into making a mistake during these "mouse provocations". They are using mind conditioning—like making it seem the Philippines was part of their history, embedding it into the Chinese people's minds that our territory belongs to them.

However, I think China is having a hard time infiltrating us directly using those tactics because we have a diverse language and geography. So instead, they use trolls and hire Filipino spies or leaders in government. They hire Pinoys to support the Chinese, slowly invading the Philippines using political puppets backed by Beijing.

Look at Alice Guo—do you think it's only about POGOs? It's also a tactic to infiltrate, cover up illegal money laundering, and control the PH to bend to China.

Now it's turned into a full-on proxy war between China and the US. Here is my theory:

Duterte was backed by the Chinese, while BBM and Sara were allies at first, right? However, I guess BBM didn't like the Chinese demands, so he reconnected with the US—which deeply angered Duterte. Of course, they can't publicize where all the funding comes from, so this whole political landscape has backdoor deals.

Pax Silica and the tech-corridor push are great examples of this little Cold War mind game with China.

Here is the most frustrating part for us ordinary Filipinos: We are secretly getting fucked by both of these nations, while our own leaders sell us out to the highest bidder. It’s exhausting to watch. We are stuck in the middle, paying high prices, dealing with local corruption, and worrying about being dragged into a war we didn’t ask for.

Filipino politics has such a toxic "drama vibe" because it’s not even about improving our lives anymore. Unlike other countries where political drama is purely domestic, ours is about China vs. the US slowly confusing us while local politicians line their pockets with foreign money.

There is a quiet strategy in China: slowly confuse your enemy and bend them towards you, so as they get super confused, they can't even fight back. America is playing the exact same game for its own strategic interests.

I know leaders are aware of this little skirmish of mind games where every move and step is being watched—but ordinary Pinoys are the ones bearing the cost and paying the price for their greed.

What do you guys think? Am I overthinking this, or are we really just pawns in their game?
