4 Player Cooperative Mode and STILL can't get to the Visitors Center!!!
Bought a NIB JP Premium this year and it's such a fun and punishingly difficult game. You can have multiple games with quick drains then go on a run.
Sometimes when I want to mix things up, i'll play a 4 person cooperative mode by myself to see if i can get to the Visitors Center. Captured the Spinosaurus, got the King of the Island Multiball for the first time ever. Then got to the Raptor paddock capturing one of them (you gotta do the capture TWICE??? ARGGGG)
This is where it's hard to understand when I see used pinballs for sale with 200 or 300 plays, I think we are easily up to well over 600 plays since June between me and my kids.

Request: A photo of lit billion point heart from Bride of Pinbot
I have made the billion point shot once and have been pondering a The Machine themed tattoo. While I give her a few spins everywhere I find her, let's be honest, I may never make the billion point shot again ☺️ and I will be far too excited to take a picture.
Does anyone happen to have a photo of this heart lit up?

Chicago Pinball Expo 2026: Machine Map
Hey everyone. First, I wanted to make sure to thank YouTube channels MN Retro Gamer, Carl Hardy, and the Dutch Pinball Museum for their great day 1 footage.
Having been to another recent pinball show, I was surprised that they rarely seem to put out useful maps of all the games they have to play as that's the reason why we go. The Chicago show seems to be no different. Just a static pdf floor plan. So I went through the video footage to make this map: https://rincs1979.github.io/chicago-pinball-expo-2026.
Sadly I'm on the other side of the country and can't attend. But I kind of wanted to do this just to make a wishlist of VPX tables to find later. Hopefully anyone attending this weekend will find it useful.
Candidly I know I'm missing some stuff on the map. Feel free to post any corrections. And also hopefully I got all these homebrew creators correct as in many ways they seem to be the star of the show this year. To anyone attending, have fun and feel free to share your experience of the show. I might just have to go next year.

Stuck deciding between pinball places in Minnesota
I am planning on playing pinball on Saturday and am stuck on going to either LITT, Northstar pinball collective, or Julie's. What would be the best to do? I want to go to LITT for the LE machines but it costs per game. Julies doesn't have any LE connected games but has some older games that I want to play. NPC has more pro IC games but most of them I can play around me, however they are on free play at NPC.

Costco Champion haha
First time in Costco without the kids so I played the display/floor model. Fun game but probably won’t bring one home.

For who is in Italy we are pleased to organise a pinball tournament on November 7th at Spazio Tilt in Bologna. There are thirty pinball machines and plenty of good company.

Been experimenting with LEDs, I think I'm getting close to being happy with it.
Comet "sunlight white" bulbs for most of the inserts plus blacklight bulbs around the main concentration of glow in the dark rubbers on the slings/flippers. All bulbs behind the "hologram" and then any inserts that suffer heavily from strobing (like the missile circles) are incandescent.

PVP pinball game (digital)
Hope this OK (and please feel free to remove u/mods) but I've been supporting a solo developer who's built a two-player pinball game and it's launching later this month. Would love your support if you're interested at all!

(Unbranded) Galoob Hot Shot tabletop
I am looking for info on this tabletop pinball. I got it for Christmas as a kid (Late 70's maybe). My research has uncovered another version that is white and has the Galoob branding. But nowhere can I find even a photo of a red one. Anyone ever seen one of these?

Question from a new player
The other day I got a pinball videogame on steam, after only having played Space Cadet back in the day, and got thoroughly hooked. Since then, I've been delving into the history of pinball and learning the lingo and techniques, so that I can be as knowledgeable as possible.
I'm having a blast.
Unfortunately, I don't have access to the real thing where I live. Such places are few and far between, and traveling to the closest one would mean quite the journey.
My question is threefold:
First, how realistically can a videogame portray the physical machine? (I'm playing Pinball FX, on the "realistic" setting).
Second, for those of you who either have access to, or have acquired your own physical machines, do you also play the digital version of the thing, or does playing the real thing take away from the digital?
Third, is there anyone out there who actually prefers the digital?
I guess that's three questions.
Whether physical or digital, I think I found a new hobby.

Was offered Pulp Fiction SE for my loaded D&D pro....should i?
Title says it all. Admittedly, ive played the hell out of dnd and im kinda meh on it now after beating it 10+ times. My only thing holding me back is seemingly every pulp fiction ive ever played seemingly has had some issues.
Trade is his pulp SE for my d&d pro with Tiny Tavern and Kyro mimic mod.
Would you?

Trade rush premium for Twd Prem + cash
Considering trading a rush premium with exp lights and an amp with new speakers for an original twd prem plus cash. Do you guys think its worth while? Neither theme do anything for me im looking for just gameplay wise. My only complaint with rush is the game is kind of easy and plays forever. This is even after opening up the outlane posts. Does twd still hold up or should i hold out for a cash sale.
