Troubleshooting/question existing piercing Amazon earrings recommendations

My left earlobe was re-pierced in late August after not having one for 3 years so it’s been 7 weeks but I’m waiting for the 9 week mark to really consider changing the flat back titanium stud. Money is a little tight so I’m wondering what Amazon earrings are safe to replace it with? I prefer cubic zirconia studs and there was a brand called limerencia that’s pretty popular but I’m unsure of whether to trust that for a 3 month old piercing. Any recommendations would help!

Troubleshooting/question existing piercing Third time repiercing my lobe and it looks worse!

Post image

I'm just so upset. I got pierced today. The piercing literally looks worse than the 2nd time it was pierced. At this point I just want to give up. I love piercings and all but a lot of piercers in my country are just fuck ups who only care about money. The angle looks so horrible and I'm tired of wasting my money and not even being able to get the most basic piercing. I'm so upset, I just want to cry. I literally wasted so much money trying to get this piercing to work. Only have one healed ear from the second attempt but the other ear still didn't heal after almost three years so i took it out 4 and a half months ago and let it close and repierced this ear.

The piercer didn't use a clamp btw.

all things jewelry Can a 14g jump ring for a charm fit on a 16g clicker?

Was looking at the Diablo Organics Dagger charm and it states that the jump ring fits up to 14g. I think jewelry sizing is inverted so a 14g is larger than a 16g. Since I am a 16g, would it fit on my clicker?

Troubleshooting/question existing piercing I've had a nose piercing bump for 3 months now

I got my piercing done in early August and 2 weeks later this bump formed. Now, a little context, but I've actually had my nose pierced 3 times. All 3 times a bump formed. The first time I waited about a year or so before I took it out and let it heal (and close up). You can still see a bit of the scar tissue. The second time I waited about 8 months then took it out. The first two times were with a needle. 3rd time I got it done with a gun and then put 22k gold in it myself. With this 3rd time, I've gone to a profrssional piercer who put in an extra long implant grade titanium post (flat labret) to allow swelling to go down but i don't see much difference? They suggested tea tree on the bump only and q tips to clean, I've stopped that as of this week. I used 0.9% sodium chloride wound wash on it twice a dat and use a q tip to dry it. I'm going to the piercing place again tommorow to possibly downsize again but what are peoplea thoughts?

I did accidently snag it once a couple weeks ago, but that aside the bump shows not much real change. It does tend to feel a bit itchy and very occasionally bleeds (a very tiny amount) when I'm cleaning it

Troubleshooting/question existing piercing Help, how do I take off this smiley piercing?

Post image

I just got it 2 months ago and haven’t taken it off ever since then, but I have a surgery tomorrow morning and I thought I could just screw it off but nothing is happening , I keep trying but every attempt just ends in me pulling the frenulum and it obviously hurts , anyone know? Am I just unscrewing it incorrectly? Or do these specific pieces have a different unknown way of taking it off, Should I apply more pressure when twisting?, is there a technique to taking it off, someone lmk, my surgeon told me to take it off before the surgery but they said if I can’t they could “try” but I’m worried they won’t be able to either so I will just try myself right now to see if I can but need some extra help hence the reason for this post lol, someone lmk please

Troubleshooting/question existing piercing Is my naval piercing getting infected?

I got this piercing done about a week ago, the piercer said it was surgical grade titanium. I’ve been cleaning it 2-4 times a day with an isotonic sterile nasal spray. It does not hurt much and out of nowhere. It’s been leaking some sort of a yellow-ish white puss and the area is getting red. does it look like an infection or just a part of the healing process?

my piercer said i have a "baby belly button" and pierced me w a 14g 4/4. i got this done last week (1st photo) but bow im unsure if its healing properly or if its just really irritated (2nd photo). my downsize appointment is next month. i will admit i have accidentally hit it a few times, but it doesn't get caught on anything, and i clean it twice daily w the saline solution (neilimed i think is the brand). any tips would be greatly appreciated!

mod: my piercing is a week old, i have a curved barbell, not sure of the threading, its made of titanium im unsure the code, i havent been downsized yet, and i use neilmed sterile saline solution twice a day, and in the shower i use Dr. Bronners Baby Soft (a mild fragrance-free soap) and after my shower i spray it again w saline. i have hit it maybe twice on accident but im unsure if its rejecting or js irritated

Question about a piercing I (maybe) want Thoughts on why it takes me so long to heal piercings?

So, I have 6 piercings and all except 1 took more than most people to heal. Here are all the times:

- Infant, both lobes: Don't remember healing

- ~2013, second lobe: Few months, but removed before fully healed since it was crooked

- ~2014, redone second lobe: ~1.5 years until pain went away

- 2015: Septum, few weeks, no issues

- 2021: Bottom navel, ~2.5 years before pain went away, migrated a lot

I know the navel generally takes a while, and that piercings in general vary person to person. I rinsed them with saline for the first few weeks, used only NeilMed piercing sprays, and tried to avoid touching and bumping them as much as possible.

Tattoos I've healed much easier.

I could adjust my aftercare. But especially with the lobe situation, I'm nervous to get more piercings since I've taken so long in the past. Any ideas why that might be?

I got an industrial piercing yesterday. The piercer said I have the perfect anatomy but the bar is sitting flat against my ear and I'm not sure if it's because it's swollen cause it was only pierced yesterday.

Hey everyone. This is my first post here so if i am doing something wrong i am so sorry please let me know.

I have always been insecure of my ear shape, so i always avoided piercings. It is a bit prominent and pointy at top, looks kinda weird. I want to know what piercings will compliment my ear shape. I dont want to hide or emphasise anything, just what would fit me the best. Thanks in advance

Question about a piercing I (maybe) want Do I have anatomy for navel piercing?

Hi everyone! I’m considering getting a navel piercing and wanted to get some preliminary thoughts on my anatomy before booking an in-person consultation.

Photo order: Standing up, sitting down, lying down

I know an in-person assessment by a professional piercer is always required for a final answer, but I’d appreciate any feedback or advice from experience! Thanks!

Question about a piercing I (maybe) want Rook or Daith?

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hello!

I got my seconds re pierced and a new conch. I had a consultation with the piercer for future piercings and she was just so awesome recommending the conch, I'm so happy.

I'm going back to downsize and I want to get more piercings. I was thinking about the rook or Daith, which she said I have anatomy for. I am seriously stuck between the two choices.

I think a rook will give more space between the conch and a more even look. But I don't want jewelry that is dangly. I like hoops to be secure. Nothing too big that it's wiggling around. What does it feel like?

The daith, the hoops look secure in photos and the jewelry options seem more available and so cute. It's just so cool looking.

I don't want both piercings, but I don't want fomo of not getting the other. Any advice on jewelry or placement is welcome. Thank you for your time!

Hii guys. I want to get more piercings. I just don’t know which. Ignore the irritation bump on my helix I’m in process of healing it. But I just wanna know what you guys think would look good on my ear. Open to any piercing but an industrial or any stretching. Obv I wouldn’t get all piercings at once but I’d rather have a plan before burning bridges I can’t even see yet. Thanks :))

Question about a piercing I (maybe) want Small tragus piercing anatomy + future piercing ideas?

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

I have gotten three different opinions from three different piercers on whether or not I can get a tragus piercing. The first one (who I’ve been going to for years so I trust she wouldn’t just say yes for the money) said yes that it could be done. I had gone in for different piercings so I didn’t get it done that day. I was then talking about my future piercings with a different piercer and I mentioned wanting my tragus and she said it was too small. Then last weekend I went to a third piercer who was recommended to me to hopefully get a tragus but I had a back up piercing just in case. She looked and said it was on the edge of being big enough where it could be pierced but had a higher chance of rejecting because it is small. She said she wasn’t comfortable piercing it because of this.
So now I’m not sure what to do. I’m willing to go back to the first piercer who said she could do it once my other piercings heal. (She just has hours that don’t work well with my schedule which is why I’ve gone to some different places.) Is it so small that it’s risky to get it pierced? Does anyone have any experiences healing a piercing on a small tragus? I know it’s hard to tell from a picture but do you think I have the anatomy for it? Is there a high risk of rejection considering I’ve never had any issues with other piercings migrating or rejecting?
I’m typically a fast healer and rarely have any issues with my piercings. I also always keep a close eye on them and I’m willing to take it out if it does start rejecting. This is just a piercing that I really want on both ears! It’s going to be a bit before I can get any more piercings as I now have others that need to heal first but I’m leaning towards taking the risk to get it done once I’m ready. I just wanted to hear others opinions before I make that decision!

I also added pictures three and four which are my future planned piercings. Any suggestions or recommendations on what I should change or add? I currently have 16 and have 36 total planned… only 20 more to go!

Also please ignore my slightly crusty and swollen forward helix. It was just done on Saturday and the long bar is making it stick out awkwardly.

Thank you for any suggestions and opinions! :)

Got it done about a month ago. Unfortunately it’s been smacked several times by my 14 month old. Cleaned once daily with dial antibacterial soap & sterile saline twice daily. Seems constantly swollen and irritated :/
