probably they got scared that Linux is getting so much attention lately, like, all of the PC related channels I watch started uploading videos of trying out Linux and how it works

Yup, Linux is not gaining widespread adoption, but the user share is still swelling and swelling, bit by bit

Thing with Linux is that once the dam breaks, it’ll probably grow very quickly indeed.

Once everyone has to support Linux, there won’t be many blockers left.

Ironically it will probably be because of AI. It is crazy what you can do on Linux now, VM windows or any other OS, emulate PS5, I got Photoshop to work, but it is still needs GPU pass-though. It will be a combo of everything working and Windows continued enshittification, but the dam will break.
