Don’t mind the Stompa, she’s a WIP

I'm loving this style! C&C welcome.

My buddy and I have been going to a local hobby store on a set day throughout the past few weeks to paint and hang out and I've been painting orks for the first time (he's painted and played them in the past) and we're just having a good time.

I'm completely in love with how much freedom there is of the faction. Having come from painting templars, Imperial fists (30k models) and necrons. Not to mention the lore and some of the rules, especially the older ones are hilarious.

I'm very eager to be involved with Orktober.

Brought him for the first time yesterday, finished up the model today! Couldn't be happier with my big orky buddy!!

So I plan on running the meganobz with nazdreg. He already gives IGNORES COVER so is there a point to having the MEK? I know the mek can heal his unit but is that worth it?

I think I have a penchant for purchasing proppa orky goodness.

Bought myself these for my 50th go round.

Happy Orktober everyone, my first ork model of the month was finally getting around to this fun proxy. I painted this deff dread in two hours and made a short about it on my youtube channel on how it was done. I got the kit and trying to decide which to build. visually I love the gun on the gorkanaut more but its another leathal hits non-monster/vehicle like so many other ork weapons. Seems the Mork is better at dealing with potential vehicles and monsters at range, but the gork is better close range and has that 20 attacks with its guns.

So curious what people tend to run them as and why?

Are they mega?? They seem kinda small compared to their new Armageddon brothers but they look like they can pack a punch and take a few too.

My first time using cork on bases and spending my time basing properly rather than PVA and flock.

Did I do them justice??

Hey all. Picked up the Armageddon box and sold off the Blood Angels side. Looking to start an Ork army as I mainly play Necrons. I have no idea what theme I want other than I know I Ghazgull.

I like the Mek side of things Im thinking. But what are some good units I should definitely include? I know rule of cool exists but I also want to get some good units. Im thinking pirate/mad max themed but I dont know yet.

Anyone know why one full box of Nobz costs less than one Mek model???

Finished my Armageddon Box grots for Orktober.

Had a blast getting these guys painted, couldn't decide on a theme or scheme so they just grabbed whatever gubbinz they could.
