Afraid to think about it.
I (M18) have been grappling with Transgender thoughts for around a couple months now. I’ve done every quiz I could find, and spent several days thinking and wondering.
For the life of me, I cannot understand whether or not I feel comfortable with my gender. It’s genuinely becoming a thing that scares me. It’s only heightened by the fact I see transphobic comments and people at every turn, so that makes it scarier. I really don’t know how I feel and that scares me. I’m afraid to figure it out. I’m afraid to not know. I don’t know what to do.
Ps: if you dislike, or for whatever reason hate transgender people. Please DNI.

Just so you know, your gender doesn't have to be one solid thing. If you're questioning it don't be stressed about fitting into an easy-to-explain label. What's more important is the things you want to do with your time, what makes you smile. If you want to try wearing different clothing, wearing makeup, doing your hair, or anything to feel different in your skin - you can just do that! And then you can stop if you don't like it.
A lot of people I've known hesitate to explore their gender because they feel like they have to do it a certain way but it's not true. If it's about the way other people see you, there are ways to experiment with your presentation without "coming out" or drastically changing your life. And it's okay to change your mind on it multiple times (I did!). Especially if you start talking to trans people online or in person who can understand your experience. :)
The transphobia out there is NUTS but as a trans person I can assure you 1) it's only a trend to hate trans people and 2) there are so many beautiful things waiting on the other side of exploring your gender that will make any negative comments worth it

You're so young. You have plenty of time to figure things out. Finding a therapist that specializes in trans would be beneficial

Hey, come over to the trans subreddits and try to block the transphobic hot spots. I spent way too much time early on having fights with TERF twitter and it takes some time to regenerate.
It's nothing you have to figure out immediately. Just immerse yourself in the culture a bit and see how it makes you feel.
