You could have kept that secret and won the egg and spoon race.

Both odd, and satisfying.

I think the "odd" aspect of this is that a "good" peanut butter tends to separate, while this looks very uniform.

Looks similar to palm oil & sugar icing with natural peanut flavouring.

A chef would make up a name for this and charge you more than a whole jar costs.

Not to be that girl but I work in culinary and this is pretty close to a damn good quenelle. Just need a more oblong shape and it's there

An egg of peanut butter is now the plural of peanut butter.

u/cynicalchicken1007 10h ago
As with a knob of butter, an egg of peanut butter

u/Consistent_Detail_61 9h ago
Heard of a knob of butter for the first time ever today and now have heard it twice

The smooth first scoop from the jar is always eaten directly from the spoon and washed down with milk, it's the rules.

Is it natural peanut butter or peanut-flavored spread?
3
u/JigsawnSean 10h ago
The technical name is egg-derived spread. The chickens are fed 100% natural peanut butter though.

getting a scoop of peanut butter that cleanly is weirdly satisfying, especially when it comes out perfectly shaped

It's because it was taken from a new jar of pb. Top layer is typically smooth and unscathed

Everyone already commented on the perfection of the scoop, but I'm curious what you're eating it with! Banana and oats? Chia seeds?

What are you mixing your peanut butter and banana with?
Yogurt and chia seeds? I had never considered that combination...

Pretty cool but I can only think of how you need better peanut butter! Only peanut butter with crap additives looks like this
