Is this a bad idea?
This summer, I finally went hiking in the nude, off the marked trails. My girlfriend joined me, going topless.
I was completely naked. We were on unmarked paths, but there was always a chance we might run into another hiker, a runner, or a cyclist.
I had a pair of shorts attached to my backpack, but I realized that putting them on quickly—when you only have a few seconds and are still wearing your hiking boots—is impossible.
I came up with the idea of a "hiking kilt"—a quick-release kilt that I could simply snap on. It would only take a few seconds. The kilt would still be loose, breathable, and allow for freedom of movement, while solving the problem of those brief moments when strangers might be nearby.
What do you think?
Thanks!
(P.S. This is my own design/idea...)
(P.S. 2: I’m using a translator; English isn’t my native language.)
EDIT:
Thanks to everyone for your replies.I called it a "kilt" because that was the first word that came to mind as a suitable term for a "men's skirt."
I wasn't trying to invent something entirely new; I just wanted to use existing elements in a new way.
Neither the Incas nor the Scots needed a pocket for a mobile phone, nor did they need the ability to put it on or take it off quickly.
I live in a country where nudity itself isn't a crime. The point is simply to ensure that strangers aren't accidentally exposed to my nakedness. Naturally, I don't plan on walking along busy sidewalks in this attire. The original idea was to have something I could put on quickly in an emergency, while still allowing for plenty of freedom of movement. If I were to use a towel, a bathrobe, or my wife's running skirt, I’d feel a bit like a pervert—at least in my own eyes.
